    Yes, true. I love rainbows and butterflies! It’s because I’m a rainbow soul with a rainbow aura and a butterfly sat on my thumb for 15 minutes yesterday! They are so adorable 🥰 What I’m saying is that in a relationship it’s possible to have all of those things!

    all 5 points hit me hard so much because I'm in a relationship rn where my partner is neglecting me, she rarely talks to me anymore, she's going out with other people barely telling me anything, and she's never there for me. Then when I do speak to her, it's often short and she goes to hang out with another person that's apparently way more important than me in her eyes. It's been going on for months, and now, most of the time I wonder if I'm the problem, if I'm the reason that our relationship is like this. I want to talk it out and make things better, but I can never do that if she's never around.

    Just stand up in front of her, slam your fist into the table and scream that you need to talk. If she doesn't, just leave. It's hard, but I don't think she loves you anymore if she does that. Well, that's what I would have done anyways. That has its trade off though, because it makes me look controlling towards her. I just want them to put as much effort as me.

    Watch coach Craig Kenneth on KZread it’s a lot of factors that plays a role. You trying to save the relationship and she’s treating you like nothing. Best advice is fix your trumas and leave her alone. Once she realizes you left her alone she will swing around too you especially if she is messing with someone else and sees the grass not greener with who ever she’s messing with.

    This video helped me understand why my first relationship failed: I was too complacent. I didn't put in nearly enough effort, even though I still loved her. This turned into her getting emotional about it, and I shut down. I couldn't handle it. I was too young and dumb to know how to get through those problems. I haven't had a committed relationship since, but now knowing this, I think I can make it work. Thanks!

    "The habit of being a jerk" I have had some issues with this one. Of course they deny being a jerk, don't 'mean anything' by picking on or constantly "pranking" for fun! And then made to feel like I'M the one who is wrong, because I "can't take a joke" and I'm "no fun"! When you're always the punchline, it starts to feel like getting emotionally punched! It hurts. I'm not having fun at that point. I feel pain. I feel like my feelings aren't as important as their need for amusement, even when they are completely aware that their laughter is at the expense of my feelings! My peace of mind, my feelings of adequacy! Something is wrong with ME for feeling hurt little "joking" insults, and "pranks" that feel just cruel at times. I'm not "the one" for them, if I feel upset. And I started to believe perhaps something was actually wrong with me for responding to "just having a little fun" with negativity? Maybe I just need to losen up more? Should I just try and learn to not take their behavior so seriously, when they're just joking? Right? Ok I'm sorry, I know you were just messing around..... And you find yourself apologizing for having hurt feelings, to the very person who purposely hurt your feelings for their own amusement, knowing full well how they make you feel, when they do and say such things 🤔

    How about: 6. The habit of being disrespectful. Of not showing respect for your partner’s feelings, opinions or choices. 7. The habit of devaluation. Belittling, ignoring, not listening or minimizing your partner’s contributions. 8. The habit of withholding. THIS IS A BIG ONE: Starving your partner of attention, affection, sex, praise, touch, comfort, encouragement, affirmation, compassion, inclusiveness, respect, your time or any kind of emotional or physical support. 9. The habit of hiding your true self. Not being honest, truthful, transparent or vulnerable to your partner. 10. The habit of not really SEEING your partner as a person for who they are as an individual apart from you. Too many people only see their partner for what they do for them or how they make them feel but fail to enjoy or value them as an individual, unique being. 11. The habit of being dishonest, keeping secrets, lying to your partner. 12. The habit of not seeing the big picture. The big picture is you are a couple in a relationship, sharing your lives together. Everything you do, every choice you make effects your partner. If you’re in a relationship, your life is not your own. It includes your partner. Everything you do will have a positive or negative effect on your partner’s life. If you make good choices, they too will share the rewards. If you make bad choices, they too will suffer the consequences and pain. If you focus on what is best for your partner and you as a couple, you are beginning to see the big picture!

    It's sad and hard being the one in the relationship who tries and tries and sees the relationship as a hight priority. My last (and so far only) relationship ended up in spending no time together anymore and if I was not the one starting chatting, there was no chat. It felt like I was left behind. I always said, I'll never be between him and his friends, but even long planned things were cut off a day before because of them. It still hurts thinking about that time, because we've been so happy.

    I *really* wish you'd clarify in the title &/or thumbnail what type of relationship you're talking about because I keep thinking these particular videos are about relationships in *general,* not just romantic ones. I mean, I could probably learn something if I'd just watch these, but as an aroace who's never even had a crush ever, I can't help but feel like it's not worth my time in any personal way. I'm not insulting; I'm critiquing. The clarification would be super helpful to me & maybe to others too. 🌠 Also, even though I couldn't finish this video, I like the artstyle in this one. I recently broke with someone that was studying at the same academy, I had a relationship prior this one at the same place and fell uncomfortable, years later I found myself in love with this girl that I knew had something to do with the professor of the class, she didn’t mind to be with me, I have my own insecurities so I hide this relationship from the professor knowing that he knew. I was complacent all the time with her, we had issues then we broke, I was pretty upset and sad, I feel that I needed her somehow, she never wanted me back, I tried a couple of times, she finally said no. Yesterday I saw her talkin with the professor, she saying out loud they were taliking to be friends again meaning they will be fuckbodies again…….I hope my story help others to focus on themselves and don’t screw at work or at the place to be focus. God bless

    I agree with all this, but I’ve been told by child educators way before, and later realized by their words that you have to initially think about yourself. Not when you are in relationship but before you plan any love relationship. Ask yourself this kind of questions : Do I am ready to be in relationship ? Do I am psychologically ready to be or even try with someone ? And so on... I weight my words because I am not psychologically healthy to do this kind of thing, and when I did not know before, I hurt myself but not only, I hurt others by trying and being in relationship. In my case I tried to be the best person as possible. Sometime it was useful but the majority of the time it was harmful (for the other person and me) and I just got so many bad adjectives do describe this that I can not write them normally like, bringing so much bad memories. Think about yourself before doing some projects to be in relationship, globally protect yourself, and others because by avoiding this disaster, you also protect others. Sorry if it was not well written, bad turned or even offensive (Absolutely not what I wanted), I'm not a native English speaking person, I'm still learning, I tried my best to share my thoughts. Love yourself.

    hey there, i had a load of pent up frustrations and emotions about my gf like kinda small things but they irritated me a lot, yesterday i woke up and she had called me something i really didnt like but she said it was a "joke" and "not that deep" well it wasnt a joke to me no matter how insignificant that little thing she said was it meant a lot to me and really hurt me. so instead of telling her that i have been feeling hurt by what she says over a long time when she says it i try ignoring it and not tell her how i feel to avoid hurting her. well it really didnt work cus it overboiled yesterday. i got really angry at her and let it all out on her and said things i knew she wouldnt like as a sort of "stings doesnt it" to let her know the pain i felt so that she could maybe understand, but it didnt go my way at all. after the argument she said she lost feelings for me after what i said to her and she broke up with me... i tried apologizing but she wont even bother reading my apology and just answered with the letter "e" thats all she said i havent texted her after that.. i still have strong feelings for her and i dont know how to let go of them, i still love her so much and i regret letting my anger take control. i asked my dad for advice but he just said "theres someone out there for you" and that just makes everything even more depressing... everything i found fun to do before like play video games and watch movies and all my other hobbies are just not fun anymore either and i really need some help.

    My ex cheated on me despite having been together for 3 years and we promised to never let anyone come between us. My whole world fell apart and I became more and more insecure of myself ever since he broke up with me and I have gotten deeply afraid that it could happen to me again if I do meet someone else. I don't intend on giving up on love as a way to work on getting stronger and do better in a relationship...

    QUESTION: What does it mean when a guy enters my class, makes eye contact with me fast and for a long time?

  • @staytheknight
    @staytheknight2 жыл бұрын

    What I’m wondering is “how much should one invest in a relationship before it’s time to cut your loses and leave?” Like I’ve said to my partner “I love you” and have done my best to show them that it’s the case. (And it’s been for months) She has yet to say it back but has made attempts to at least show me that she does. (But in my mind words are still important) FULL DISCLOSURE: I’m a classic anxious preoccupied attachment and she is probably a dismissive avoidant (probably. Ive never met a DA who’s ever acknowledged it or even interested in attachment theory) Our relationship had progressed very slowly and it’s stalled at a few moments but we’re chugging along at 15 miles an hour on the freeway. But at least there’s movement. So I don’t know. Please if anyone has insight I’ll gladly listen to your experiences. I hope you all have a great day ❤️

    I need some help here, my current partner is only my partner because they told me they had a crush on me while i was still getting over my ex (and while i was still realizing i was on the aromatic spectrum) and because i didnt wanna be rude so i accepted the relationship. That was almost 3 years ago and they still love me a lot but i dont have those same feelings. I need some help on how to break up with them without hurting their feelings. My partner has been my best friend for about 4 years and i dont wanna stop being friends with them. (My past few partners were the ones who broke up with me so i dont know how to do it)

    Sadly I fell in the habit of ego... My gf has an avoidant type of attachment and is a single daughter living with her mother. I really feel she loves me and so do I but it always felt like we were drowning in a glass of water, because of me, my lack of empathy drove us this way and I'm worried of losing her, I feel so f stupid now that I realized what was wrong with me.. Sunday we will meet to discuss if we continue or break up. Wish me luck ;_;

    @@NtrtAst We broke up. I went with a mindset ready to expect it though so I'd say it was kind of mutual and agreed to see each other again after some time. Fast forward, almost a month later I feel ok, sometimes sadness comes and goes but I managed to steady but slowly accept it. I'm ok with the fact that we're no longer talking, and I was constantly afraid to be alone but thanks to this channel and my therapist I realized it's a dumb, weak fear that currently I'm overcoming, it's not so terrible once you realize those kind of thoughts are there and when you begin to question them, they lose power so it helps a lot on the breakup recovery I think. Thanks for asking though (: I wish you the best!

    I don't know if this is good or not, but I demand commitment from day one, from the very getting to know each other. I know it's not good, but my reason is that I'm tired of investing time in relationships that don't work. It may sound cliché, but my time is running out. I'm becoming 29 later this year, which means if I don't marry soon, I may not live to see my granchildren or even become too old to have children. That's why I don't think I can start a relationship that wouldn't turn into a marriage in the next 3 years. And furthermore, that is too short of a time for my situation right now, because I don't think I can do enough to sustain a family at this moment, in the next three years. Maybe I should take the fact I'll remain an old childless bag, who will just turn into a laughimg stock. Yeah, laugh now, I know. My luck doesn't look like changing any time soon anyways.
