The picking actually gives each note a bit more oomf. Makes it actually feel like lightning

I would add 'muse - plug in baby' To this list, it seems to impress people more than stuff 10x harder.

@@stupidthefish1979 My personal solution for the timing ("The song begins with two bars of 5/4, followed by one bar of 4/4, followed by bars of alternating 5/8 and 7/8, until the first interlude, which consists of alternating bars of 6/8 and 7/8." according to google) is to literally ignore counting. Just play based on the rest of the band. If you think about it too much it's easy to get lost.
