My favorite part.

This was more information than I can get watching multiple videos by other writers. You speak fast… thank goodness, it’s perfect. What’s most pleasing to me, is that you don’t bother with negative stuff. You find something good to say about things, before encouraging the writer to explore other options. All of the best teachers do that. This was a fun video. It would be fun to see something like this with handstyles too.

Never change your name because it's hard or you're having trouble otherwise you'll never settle on a name because all names have struggles. Write the letter in basic print and do your pieces in basic print, your name should very literally look like this > REMZ when you do tags and pieces. Keep it simple, no style added at all. gotta study those basics.

S is unlikely to tie to the k on its own by flow, maybe with the O Try switching it up. Do an s more like a 5 or something, make some parts rigid and leave others loose.

Go Koma. Perplex is gonna give you headaches, and if you're unsure either way I reckon don't torture yourself. If you keep at it you will hit a point where the longer name won't bother you so maybe revisit it then?

I write Zeus. Sometimes I struggle with the Z and S making similar shapes, lines and forms. Also the U sometimes makes it hard

They shouldnt have similar shapes because the letter Z is very straight and S is super round. The only time they have similure structure is if you're using a more advanced variant structure S or if you're doing letter distortions to your Z like I did here in this video. Both of those are much more advanced. The letter U really has some pesky negative space in it's open counter and tends to be hard to flow so try to make the U have letter uniformity as much as possible without over doing it. Line uniformity might cause issues for you at the start vyt take advantage when it happens but i dont recommend going out of your way for it until you feel comfortable with it on other letters

Flow is an interesting fundamental because its the only fundamental that starts off 100% correct AUTOMATICALLY without you having to do anything. its the only fundamental that instead of having to work to make it correct, you instead have to have done something to make it wrong (because once again it starts off being correct. Why is this? Well if we look at letters in their basic natural state, all letters and numbers flow with one another in their basic form. This tells us flow is the natural state for all letters in any language. This also tells us that flow is a result of the other letters existing because the only way for flow to exist in the first place is if there are multiple letters/elements to flow. This means the only way flow can ever be messed up in graffiti is if your other fundamentals aren't correct. Knowing this, you're focused on the wrong fundamental, and its a different fundamental causing the issue. You're likely adding too much style without realizing it, so what i would do is focus on writing basic print font as neatly as possible and start there.

Welcome to writing and graff, lol. I literally felt that way for over 3 years, it takes a LONG time to gain any sort of ability to properly assess your work without bias, and even longer before you can build up confidence. In the meantime, get used to feeling this way cause you'll be getting it a lot. 😅
