Can a company have a good cash flow but bad in fund flow
Starting to interview for more senior finance analyst roles. After my first one , I quickly realized that despite how confident in the behavioural section, I would always stumble on the technical stuff as my current day-to-day role is very basic and data entry like at most.

Oh ya. 3 months ago i used your materials to prepare for a finance analyst role interview and i got the job. Thanks for the useful tips!
For a 1st question the best answer should be to look at IRR, NPV, project IRR vs Equity IRR based of FCFf vs FCFE
Oh, love the recap part at the end! Thank you!
The only hard thing with gross margin being the main KPI is that everyone calculates their gross margin differently depending what they consider to be COGS. Some people will put in sales commisions, gasoline, truck payments etc. whereas other companies won't put those things in. So when comparing companies I find that sometime hard, as what people consider putting into COGS varies depending on the owners and accountants. Great video though! Love your content.
Complicated topics covered in a really simple way within no time. Amazing Sir!

From 800 to 80k to 800k. Awesome content! Keep it up :) Would be nice to have a long video that breaks down the whole Finance department in a SaaS company. High-level - helpful for recruiters and people who are thinking about a career in Finance. I might work on something like this but you are an expert so you'd do a much better job :) Keep it up!

Great question & answers. Question answer should be increase in credit sales aside the collection challenge mentioned. My thinking. Thank you.
Thank you so much for providing such as useful and excellent radio for us. I really appreciate it. Also, I was wonderning if you could kindly make a radia regarding the public accounting firm interview question and answer since you have two years of accounting public working experience previously.

Great information. I have a question? How do you account for financial statements coming up with different EBITDA's meaning the formula doesn't quite work to the exact amount with all companys? Hope that makes sense. Thank you

Bill I was thinking about it..In the first question that's the ratio used to measure the performance of the investment you did, but what ratio should someone use to evaluate a company to decide whether investing or not? a part from the expected return I mean, looking at the financials. ROE right?

Great video thank you! However in your 5. question uncollectible AR goes to a contra-asset Allowance account which reduces AR - not increases it, in the meantime net realizable value of receivables won't change - , or not necessarily?
@TheFinancialController
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. This question assumes AR keeps climbing but uncollectible AR is static.
@naveenkumarmandiki3581

Also, one more reason to increasing the AR is revised increased credit period to encourage the sales which could also be one of the reason to be evaluated

Just to clarify something. For question one doesnt that depend on the underlying need of the company? Eg. if the company wants to hedge its operations then it be better of at looking at the Beta of the asset

Good point and this could be true for international companies. However these fluctuations are usually immaterial to the total numbers.

Usually companies would run revaluation to maintain their ar and the unrealised exchange gain loss would go after ebidta on the pnl
