You can also go to 1v1 map that has slowmotion that will give you muscle memory of editing fast and smooth

That’s what I do. I go in a map where I can change the speed. I start with the slowest and just fucking crank. Then I go higher, crank. Then higher. Then higher. It’s honestly 20-40 minutes of my life put to good use.

Ive been playing on my standard 60fps xbox with regular controller my whole life and just using builder pro binds and its such a disadvantage and i cant take my skill up at all. Well one thing I will say is that there is a controller for sale that’s about $50 with paddles and Hall effect sticks so no stick drift ever. I’d say it’s definitely better than not having that. I play claw on all of my controllers but tbh Xbox rollers are trash for everything but racing games. I much prefer how my PlayStation rollers feel.

You can’t compete with new gen or pc in old gen consoles any more, performance and input delay are way too bad, you also don’t need paddles, claw is better and hand problems are something common among professional video game players, playing claw wasn’t necessarily the issue for Issa

@@ranaepica7051 that’s dependent on the game tbh. I got to masters in apex before the ranked changes on old gen going against new gen. Tbh if your tryna play comp build a pc. You can build a really good budget one for $500 for 1080p and have great performance for esport titles and triple A games. (I’d recommend setting a base around the intel i3 12100f (cpu) and a Radeon rx 6600 (GPU) and building around those for decent price to reliability). I think though if you don’t have a budget I’d say running a 4070 and a 12600kf is going to run any game at 1440p high fps. Doesn’t matter if it’s Cyberpunk or Fortnite.

There’s a glitch, if you have both the build/edit bind and the edit bind binded it makes the delay for the edit bind 0, you can just bind the build/edit bind to a button you don’t use like one of the arrows

ALSO along with the controller paddles/attachment, get a CONTROL FREAK to go with it. Must have. Gives u much better control & consistency with ur stick movement

Well I don’t think they’re needed. I’ve owned many but tbh I find I’m much more accurate without them. Granted I used them on Xbox because Xbox controllers suck for shooters but since being on pc and running ps4/ps5 rollers I’ve been having a blast. Such amazing controllers, they’re also super light once you take the battery and rumble motors out.

Edit hold time should be 0, if you have both the build/edit bind and the edit bind binded, there’s a glitch that makes the edit hold time for the edit bind 0, so what most players do is bind the build/edit bind to a button they don’t use (i have it binded to one of the arrows) and make their edit bind their main one, also if you play claw or paddles edit on release off is better, it helps with your crosshair placement and helps you do better edits

What do you sprint with

I play double claw. My left index goes on LB and my middle finger goes on LT. I hold the controller on the left side using my ring/pinky finger. I use LB to reset edits and I use edit on release. It's alot to handle but it works well on standard controllers + use a kontrolfreek on ur right stick.

Edit on release isn’t worth it, it doesn’t make you that much faster and it makes your angles a lot worse

You should play boxfights, zonewars, buildfights and realistics too if you want to improve your fighting, freebuilding is also important to improve your edits and building. You should add freebuilding instead of piece control some days and play one of the four 1v1 modes I recommended for a couple rounds to improve.

I haven’t properly played Fortnite in like a year and it took me 3/4 days of playing fn to get from bronze or whatever the lowest rank is to champion in on 40% near to unreal on console UK is that good or nah Edit: it was also only solo controller console 120fps
