I'll do it just with platonic route And I think there was also mod that entirely removed the romance route, I'll use that. Ken's Social link would've been fine if it was *written* to be purely platonic, cuz even on the platonic route there are a few "wtf bro" moments

iirc, party in portable cannot get tired at all unless you end your trip in tartarus. the slinks are also a lot more forgiving now than in fes. so if you know your way around slinks/confidants, the only time you'll broken an slink is with the moon arcana since its forced. the fusion spells are items in this game. because of the scarcity of the said items, the only worthy spell fusion in its line up are armageddon (deals 9999 almighty damage to all) and infinity (party invulnerable for one turn).

I'd say cadenza is pretty good too, it doesn't require much to make and it's a good support spell overall

I feel like I'm definitely struggling with this game more than Persona 5. Persona 3 is definitely harder, and I feel the tiredness is definitely the downside. Otherwise, I'd happily grind in Tartarus until I was strong enough.

My husband just bought the games for me for Mother’s Day and I’m so excited to play!

FemC's romance routes aren't forced (which, considering one of them in particular, is a very good thing I think...). That said, it *is* possible to break Akihiko's social link if you turn him down after hitting all the right flags. The other big thing of note, I'd say, is that Persona fusion inherited skills are *completely random* unless Atlus has updated that for the ports. You may have to back out of the fusion selection and reselect several (dozen) times to get the skills you want on a Persona.

i kinda wish they wont change the random skill inheritance lol. so that players of neo games will suffer the same fate as us (its really not that bad, tbh).

Took me like three years to get power charge and mind charge on my Thor and I’m not even counting the other skills I needed him to inherit

On the topic of P3 in general, despite how unpopular it is, I wish P3FES AI make a comeback. IDK what happened with the later iteration of AI in the later series (P3P-4-4G-5-5R) but their AI's chain of command is vastly inferior. I tried to set the tactic of my party members like it was in P3FES but man it feels way worse. For example, I tried this in P4 and set Teddie to "Heal/Support" But the only thing he did was only healing despite him having Marakukaja and Matarukaja. Compare to this, when I set the same tactic command in P3FES, Aigis (buffer) and Akihiko (debuffer) did their intended command which is heal OR support with Aigis spam all available Ma--kaja and Akihiko spam all available Ma--nda.

Because the game itself, persona 3, is based and built around that mechanics, the tactics. they changed and removed that mech because of dumbnuts with skill issue claiming it's a "bad design" and raging at the game all the time. the ai team is still in other games. but like you said, its not as goods as the AI in persona 3 because they half assed it since players will choose direct command anyway so why bother?

@@miigi-p4939 Mitsuru will only spam marin karin if you played the game wrong, which i would guess, youre guilty of. Never in my 3 playthroughs of p3fes have i encountered this so called "mitsuru marin karin spam" ever. its not even funny. how are people so bad that even the AI that are designed to OBEY and HELP them, packed with a specific and straight forward tactics, getting trolled like this. i dont get it. theres even a guy that finished the game without using the mc except when changing tactics. so this "AI BAD" argument that people are using is not that viable anymore.

@@stargazeeriuu1549 it's not only skill issues, it's seriously a bad game design, whether the AI is performant or not because the problem lies elsewhere. At the very least it is limiting and frustrating (rightfully so) since you don't have a 100% control over things. It's not hard to use Tactics even on HARD, and P3's weren't bad at all (still my least favorite part of the game). It works well (FES' Tactics system is really extensive), but it will never replace a 100% control. The bad game design comes from the fact that it is the ONLY AVAILABLE OPTION which is probably the worst thing a turn-based RPG can come up with. And I do understand Hashino's will to fit the thematic of the game by choosing this route, and I respect the risks they took. But it could've translated way better gameplay wise. You can't put the blame only on the players based on "skill issues" alone when the complaints are about something that represents 75% of the gameplay on which you don't have full control and which is again, THE ONLY AVAILABLE OPTION. Atlus understood it at least and made things right afterward, lol.

skills inherited upon a persona fusion are randomly picked, so if you like min-maxing get yourself comfy because especially later down the line there are skills that are incredibly hard to pass down bc the game makes a difference between a low level skill and a highlevel skill.

@@mizzix It might yeah, but considering that there are rumors of a p3 remake in the making floating around, I don't think they'll add much QoL into it, considering how it already has some cool stuff fes didnt have.

I guess persona protagonists just have that impeccable rizz...

Well, in the male route it still is, the female route actually has 4 optional romances. Don't let this and other videos that has them clearly thinking that the problem still hasn't fixed fool you. This explains the hatred towards Ken and them acting as if you're forced to date him to complete the Social Link when it's thankfully not the case and you can easily avoid the romance route.

I was so excited for this game before they decided to screw over physical collectors. Now that they have decided to tell us to screw off, I’ll gladly give my money to another company that doesn’t force me to buy digital bullshit

You can pach p3 16:9 aspect ratio and can avoid stretching
