As a ‘busty gal’ I almost gave up on white cotton shirts- until I discovered Foxcroft brand shirts. I personally love the Kylie style (have it in 3 colours) This blouse has a bit of stretch and is no-iron. I usually give it a little touch up with steam but it travels very well and the fabric drapes beautifully. It is also a nice blouse for layering under sweaters in cooler temps. (Not sponsored :)

A white shirt has always been a staple of mine! Back in the day when I was pregnant ( in the 80’s) maternity clothes were too cutesy and babydoll looking so I opted for a men’s button down shirt! It was perfect and always looked sharp especially when I added accessories!! Thank you!☺️

So glad you showed Carolina Herrera, the famous couturier who is well-known for wearing blouses -- usually white or pastels -- to beautiful pencil skirts or flowing light colored skirts that are always belted. Her style is very 1950s - 1960s European chic a la Sophia Loren or Brigitte Bardot. I have always admired her style aesthetic & fashion ethos for both her socialite clients & for herself. She knows what looks good & sticks to timeless classics like a shirt with a skirt or trousers when appropriate. Her best outfit was as a matador some decades ago at a ball -- she looked fabulous.

Carolina is the queen of the white blouse!

I love the stretch best, usually cotton(mostly) but enhanced by poly and elastase for about 30%. I do have many (more than 30) and love pickstitching, ruffles, etc. details. Amazing how versatile a whiteshirtcanbe

I have so many white shirts! Some of my favorites have been from Chicos, th no iron ones. I've traveled with them and they really are no iron. They look great.

OMG how cute was that 🐶😂 Oscar just passing by 🥰🐾 . The first look with dark denim looks so good. I have never own a white button down shirt and feel as a hourglass body shape the collar won’t suit me. I haven’t even tried it on in stores. 🤦‍♀️

Hydrogen peroxide works the best to remove stains from any color, and it does not discolor the item.

I’m definitely an oddball when it comes to the classic white shirt - I’ve never liked it on me. I do wear white sweaters, tee shirts and jackets/blazers - but the staple in most fashion forward wardrobes is absent from mine! ❤

Some great looks, all presenting casual elegance. May I also suggest another way to wear the white shirt? I wear a sleeveless sweater vest in a black, white, and red Argyle-style pattern, which Incan pair with black tailored trousers or black jeans. Also, for a bit of a twist in a more formal situation, I wear a man’s suit vest in grey wool (thrifted, I didn’t break up a 3-piece suit) over the shirt, and with grey tailored trousers and dressier shoes it adds a bit of interest because of the contrast between masculine and feminine elements. What does this community think?

Hi, fellow Canadians. I have a long-sleeved no-iron shirt from Talbot’s that I’ve worn for several years and that is still in great condition. I have a short-sleeved one and a sleeveless pop-over one too. But I also found a nice soft, long-sleeved white shirt at Simon’s that has a sort of silky feel (hand) and a bit of a sheen; gives a dressier I wore it just last week to the theatre and felt very well-dressed for the occasion. I’ve actually had some success shopping at the Bay. Good luck on your hunt! 🇨🇦🙂

No tip, really, but the collar is ironed with Magic Sizing so I think that helps give it shape.

I am loving your tips and tricks for wearing a white shite. The handbags are beautiful however, I am in my 70’s and large bags are now a fall risk for me. Maybe show alternatives for those of us who still want to look good but stay safe.

I can't wear white. It washes me out.
