Fun fact: when I was in the sixth grade (a while back) I wanted to be a doctor even tho it didn’t really interest me. Omg same i was in 5 gtade and my first braid i learnt was a fishtale braid and i alway wanted to be a doctor. I want to be a hair syslist but I dont think it will provide for me in life so I am going to be a doctor

In the past,I practiced curling my hair with a wand and failed many times. 😂🙄 I got mixtures of tight and loose,gonna try again!

I'm always too scared to hold it for 15-ish seconds because of that video where her hair burned off

juliannacsmith Don't be worried... :) That girl is an idiot.. You're not supposed to put product in your hair before you curl it. I always hold it for about 20-25 seconds.

you have just opened up a whole new world for me! i have been curling my hair, a lot!, for the last 20 years and never did i know that there was more than 1 type of curl, let alone that u hold for 15 seconds AND that u let it set in your palm before u release it!! i always just got what i got! i watched a couple other tutorials before yours, by the way i am subscribed to u, and no-one even came close to how brilliant, fabulous and amazing, that yours was! u rock my world! thank you to infinity! simple: braid ur hair with at least more than 2 braids. use ur straightner and pat ur braid(s) gently constantly. IF u want to use hair spray go ahead. unbraid ur hair. now u have enjoyable curls. idk but this is what i do and im sorry for bad english im just now learning it

It's all about the curler, I use Philips it was on sale and costed like 15 euros, and I use it last ten years, recently I bought a new one hoping to get biger curls because of the centimeters, I almost burned my hair and it literally can't curl hair.

There she tells how it might be hard to curl her thick and coarse hair, while here I am, green with envy, with my naturally absolutely straight and glassy/slippery hair, that does not curl in any way, or at least stay curled. For my graduation party, I went to a salon and asked for curls, any kind! Sat there for almost 3 hours, paid 60 €, and in an hour with a slight wind, my hair was back to their absolutely straight stage. Money and time well spent. (y)

start with a curling iron, then get a wand if you want one :)

Kaylee Cruise use some heat protective spray and spray about 6" away from hair and comb through before using heat. It will help keep your hair shiny and beautiful. When she says she waits for the curl to "set" she just means cool down. Heat makes it expand and cool helps it keep its place. Good luck! (Licensed cosmetologist)

Won't your hair damage and fry past 212 degrees ? I learned that in school and now I just curl on a lower setting with thermal protection

Idk if this will work for u but one of my friends has really straight hair and it won’t curl but if she washes it and then has it either French or Dutch braided and then sleeps on it then in the morning she takes it out and she has some really nice curls
