How tall is your Sophie? My sister will travel from Ecuador to EEUU and she struggling if she will be able to flight Cabin or cargo

My daughter wants to bring her German Shepherd dog to their home in Bulgaria. She's inquired about it and Aeva needs her own 'pet Passport'! It's very detailed and costly.

I have three dogs, one about her size and two small like 4 pound dogs that would share one (because they stick like glue to one another) So they would be cuddling and standing up, I guess they would need the same size carrier so the two can stand up and turn around, I'm just going in the USA not out of country so hopefully it isn't a problem.

Does your puppy do well with car rides? The plane ride went very smoothly for Sophie and although we didn't have a long car ride after our 7 hour flight, I think she could have managed it, especially because she loves napping in the car. Maybe you could exercise your pup a little bit after the flight before going for the 6hour drive home?

Hi Nessa, thank you SO much for your helpful video, I feel a lot more at ease now that I've watched it, but I'm still confused about this one part that no one seems to cover in other videos as well regarding pet carriage sizes. Regarding Sophie's carriage, you wrote that, "The carrier we used is 'Paws & Pals Pet Travel Cozy Commuter for Small Cats & Dogs'. It's the large size up to 20lbs (19"L x 10"W x 13"H)." How were you able to use a 13" high carrier when it shows on the Air Transat site that the height of the carrier cannot exceed 10" under their regulations for the pet carriers? The Air Transat website says, "Passengers must be able to place the animal carrier under the seat in front of them. Therefore, its dimensions cannot exceed 24.1 cm (9.5 in) in height x 25.5 cm (10 in) in width x 43.2 cm (17 in) in length..."? Also did they say anything about Sophie's not being able to stand completely in her carriage? Thank you in advance for your help!

this is super helpful! How tall is Sophie? I'm wanting to travel to Italy with my mini schnauzer, he is 17lbs and his carrier is 1.5lbs so the weight is okay. I have all the paperwork done, his carrier is comfy but he can't fully stand up, his head is taller than the sherpa carrier but he can still turn around and sleep comfortable in the carrier?

How tall is Sophie ? Would you say shea between 11-14in? I’m nervous about my dog not being able to fit in a carrier full grown.

She's 14" tall at her head and about 12" at her body, she's on the smaller size for cavapoos.

What if Sophie wants to go for pot? Is there something like a diaper for dogs on plane?

Great question! Sophie doesn't go potty overnight (which is about 8hours) so I knew she wouldn't need to go potty during the flight.

How did u not address the pet pee/poop issue?

As your dog gets older and you visit the vet more and more you will start to learn that most vets don't know shit. They certainly don't know your dog especially not better than you. Atleast that's been my experience with the vast majority of them. Only vets that actually seemed qualified in my city were the ones at the premier pet hospital. Honestly google has given me better results than Banfield.

This seems to be out of country/canada specific and doesn't really help the average american not leaving the country.
