I just picked up a 2024 Colorado ZR2 a couple weeks ago, and am new to real offroading though I "softroaded" my 2010 V6 AWD RAV4 for years since I bought it new. So, I want to go slow, especially since I'm going alone and the truck is really new to me and I'm not 100% sure where the wheels and corners are, and what the turning radius is like. So, easy to easy/moderate trails are what I want until I get more skill and confidence in the truck. I know the ZR2 has WAY more capability than I can use now, so, that's good, I can grow into it. Thanks for videotaping easy trails us noobs can learn on!

No problem..that was one of the main reason I made these type of content. Im not into hard trails even though I've technical been on a few but for me the scenic easy to moderate trail are what I enjoy doing. Glad these videos are helpful.

@@Michael_Tran Yup! I always go out alone, so, I wanted a vehicle with a LOT more capability than the trusty RAV, that I ALMOST got stuck a couple of times over the years. WAY out in BFE by myself, so, it was kinda sketchy. So, now I've got the ZR2, I just bought a tow strap, soft shackles, a hitch ring, and a high performance air pump, and I'll be bringing all that with me. I plan on getting a good shovel, an offroad jack, and some other stuff when I get time, I just had time to get these essentials. I have a Garmin satellite beacon (from exploring on my KTM 890 ADV R) in case I (or someone I run across) get hurt, that I'm bringing too. Maybe I'll see ya out on the trails! Happy wheelin'!

Thanks for the video. Making my 1st trip to the area in about a week. Starting out with Monument Valley and then was planning on Moab and was looking for some easy trails to test out the new Grand Cherokee Overland. @@Michael_Tran Usually if I head out that way the TJ doesn't wanna get past the San Juan's, the area between Silverton, Telluride and Ouray. This vacation is gonna be almost all pavement. North Texas to Monument Valley, up thru Moab to 70 to Denver then Royal Gorge and a trip up Pikes Peak and after that.... Back to the texas heat. 😥 With all the snow the San Juan's got this year it looks like iam gonna miss out on some epic waterfalls. I try to get up there every couple of years. So BEAUTIFUL you can drop your camera and if the shutter goes off... You got a great picture. 😂 Once again.... Thanks for the video. Be Safe Brother! ✌😎

#1 absolutely without a doubt should be Monument Valley. The trail is in Navajo nation territory that technically spans Arizona, but the scenery is astounding, and if you're going to Valley of the Gods, you aren't far and should definitely include it. There's a fee to enter, currently $8/person. If you want to see the old west, this is it. The entire 17 mile loop can be done with autos, but a car-based SUV will be able to traverse the worst parts without having to drive carefully.
