Oh my god! this is incredible, amazing, so admirable. I'm from Chile, I didn't know about Free Library. It's just something unbelievable. You have so many things that help your people have good education and gives more opportunities to learn. I admire you, in my country people doesn’t care much about reading, learning more, we have bad education, and a lot of crime. If I put a Free Library outside my house, I’m sure no one would use it and in a few days it would be stolen. Things like this shows why you are happy and inteligent people. claps

When I lived in Seattle, there was a poet in the neighborhood who made a Free Poetry box and you could stop by to pick up a paper with that week's poem. I also had THREE Little Free Libraries on my street. And one a few streets away had someone who left mix CDs with different themes. like his favorite songs, or '70s music from his youth.

I will be adding a dog hook to mine. That is a great idea. Thank you.

This is so inspiring

I would not put stickers, pencils, or bookmarks, in a cup loose next to the library. Most home improvement stores sell those rings you can use to put a metal cup in, then you can put it within a spot on the library it won't get rained on.

When I buy my house I will do this.

You probably can, but check with your HOA if there is one to know the rules. DO a search on the Little Free Library site to see if there are LFLs in your zipcode.
