I’m kinda glad you cut your hair now, your closer to the amount of hair I have now so I can determine if my hair is actually growing now as well as new styles and methods for growth

Mannnn!!! WE on the same page with braiding our own hair! I haven't yet developed the skill to cornrow my own hair but I can box braid which I am about to do so my hair will grow more while I am figuring out to how to corn row for a cool hair style! Funny how you went from Dreads to Waves basically which is my plan after I learn how to cornrow then I will star my dread journey and i am actually going to do your crochet needle method with dreads because I want to get them quick so I can get back to waving after grow some nice dreads out! New intro is wild love it

My natural curl pattern is like your second hairstyle but much smaller and all over my head. Some are tubes coils, some are springy and some are both. I have type 4 hair but when I pick it in to an afro, I will revert back into tiny droopy worm-like coils in a few days. I also find very few wavy and straight strands that I pluck out here and there
