Practice is everything! I couldn't braid that well when my girls were small like 2 & 3 years old. I did the basic braid that goes in but I wanted to learn how to make the braid sit on top. So one day I had my cousin come over to braid their hair in a style and I watched like a hawk. I got her technique and now my babies are 17-18. If I can do it, you can do it!
