I dip and use cupcake liner also. I do use a toothpick to run around the nail edges not a cuticle stick, toothpicks are smaller leaving a finer margin.😊

Your ombres are always on point...love them and so want my.nails to end up like yours. Their getting longer so Im almost there. I already have most of the colors in the kit or I def would have purchased this. Cant wait to use them especially dewdrop roses. How are you doing today Rebekah and how is the weather over there

I finally did this mani. I reversed the 2 main colors, and I did freak out when I had to do the thumb and had to sprinkle the glitter on 2/3 down the thumb. You said not to. Lol. Eventually I worked to get it to look halfway decent. I absolutely love the mani and the colors. The whole set is beautiful. I never. Did that kind of nail art before. It's so cool! I just found the double dip group. I was in the wrong one. Can wait to take pictures and share. Excellent collab. You have a great eye. Next time I'll make sure my nails are longer. The mani deserves it. It's gorgeous!!

I also prefer pouring already, when I do French, I do the tip first with dipping (thin layer so it doesn't move around) and hold my nail over a small "bowl", using a nail tip from a poly gel system as a spoon an poor the next color over the nail with it.. with dipping it also would mix the colors which I don't like either.. i actually prefer "dipping" power over everything already, it's sturdy and soooo fast! 🥳🥳 💚 I loved your designs and I wish I would have a second hand to try more (my husband didn't want to 😅)

Hi! Thank you for watching! I wear a thin layer of builder gel over my natural nails to protect them. Then I apply a full coat of peel base before I dip. 😊

I am a lash tech and cosmetologist and i buy those tweezers specifically for nail art too, and you can also find them on ebay for under $3 to $4

the activator feels cold because it's acetone which vaporizes very fast (causing the cold, nearly like alcohol does but acetone vaporizes even faster).. also another side note, the activator doesn't technically harden anything, it's dissolving the acrylic (powder), so it kind of melts it together but because it's vaporizes that fast, it makes it harder and solid after use (if it wouldn't vaporize, it would dissolve it, make it very soft, like those remover pads, that's why they have to stay closed in their packages).. the base coat and top coats are simple as it is mainly cyanacrylate, super glue (drying faster when it's more humid etc) .. so the top and base being the same means it's not a problem at all to use it after the activator is dry (!), so I would even recommend using it more often with that many layers :) okay, chemical lessons done, maybe someone is as interested as I am ;) (if anyone wonders how I know, here in Germany there is also a famous dipping powder brand called doonails and we have it as a standard that all stores here have to list the ingredients of their products clearly but there might also exist different top coats I bet, it's easy to find out when they smell the same :-D)
