The "small window" in the C pillar is actually quite common; it's there to allow the window to lower without hitting the top of the wheel arches.

You're not comparing the grill with the facelifted version of the prior generation (WK2), which does indeed have a more vertical design and is more compact in height. The WL is very similar, although it does lean forward a bit.

Couldn't agree with the last argument about the grill slope. Maybe it can be considered as "grown-up", but I do personally perceive that slope as part of the Grand Cherokee model's personal DNA. It always was like so and set up a whole silhouette of a car. I wish they still would have that slope with no change of another very distinctive graphic of the 2021 Grand Cherokee front-end.
