I started to love working in Illustrator thanks to you and Daniel. You two are the GOATs!

I’ve been using Illustrator for over a decade and I still learned a few things here! Some of these tools were added after I originally learned the program and I just never took the time to learn them. Some of these will definitely speed up my vector art workflow, thanks!

For your pen tool trick, you can just use object>create outlines (ctrl+shift+o or cmd+shift+o on mac)

But if you do that, won’t that created the curves of the shape in fill? We need stroke for this to work right.

That "create outline" trick will just make the whole letter a shape.If you want stroke,you have to do it manually and do replace spine to use some cool gradient blend.

Very nice. Short and crisp. Elipse is a closed object and blend needs to have beginning and end. Your solution is good and slick.

Hello Dansky. Is there a way that we can use a single drag to a pull up bar that would allow us to go to the middle and top of the page within Adobe XD? Example: Apple Maps I’ve been having a super hard time figuring this out! If so, can you either explain, or make a video! Thanks man😁

I've been struggling to figure out how to create an effect on a logo I'm working on and I noticed that you use the effect in your transitions in this video. It's like a "modern paint brush" effect, but I'm trying to do it on a curve. I believe it it would involve creating a brush in Illustrator. Any ideas? Thanks!

Instead of using pen tool we outline &expand it.. and apply the blend tool because we already have a handwritten font..if we we sketch it on note & draw this video is useful..

When you outline and expand, you will still have a shape, more or less. I don't think the blend option works on shapes, only strokes.

I created a signth but i have many patchs and i dont now how to match them to create one letter and then replace that letter new color as you said..

Hey Dansky, Could ya help me with this question ? *Does a smartphone pay role for graphic designing journey especially in beginning ? *Because I just wanted to buy a phone of around $194 (Mid-Range).This phone is balanced. *But SHOULD I buy it or should I save it for later (Middle Class Guy) & focus on learning. *Do I really need a smartphone because I had spend 1.5 years with Illustrator(first software).I wanted to learn stuffs like animate cc, photoshop, 2d animation, after effects, etc. *Does this learning process need a phone of $194.
