I Would suggest you to look for your teammate, set a off ball screen, get to your spot and shot a wide open shot rather than a tough fadeaway shoot.

I used to average 18 to 22 points after this i started dropping 30s easily thanks brother

Dude, the fact that I already been realizing most of the things he was telling in the video before I’ve watched it is kinda sad. Because I know that and that’s it. I can’t do anything with the knowledges Because I’m from the country where the Basketball is not really the main sport… or second… or third… or fourth… or whatever the number you can think of. I found out that I actually have quite a good basketball IQ and I can’t even use that cause we really don’t have any Basketball teams, or even gyms. I’m not about to talk like I would’ve made it to the NBA was I born in, let’s say America, but even having the ability to just use this skills against the other hoopers or even realizing the fact I’m not probably the only hopper in the whole City would be something that I would’ve been grateful about.

The leg kick is not for counterbalance. It is to create space by kicking the defender.

@ShotMechanics Okay, you.believe that. When Karl Malone started it in 1997 he was not getting his balance. He was straight kicking for space. Kobe just slicked it up to make it look good. You tell me how jumping up and falling backwards kicking your leg forward gives you balance? Physically it can't straighten you in the air or square tour shoulders. It creates separation.

How can a leg kick counterbalance you? You're falling backwards kicking forwards would only send your momentum further back.

all of these are useless if you don't have footwork. a lot of players can do these moves but aren't a master of it because they don't have kobe's footwork. kobe have plan A, B and C when he wants to score. watch iman shumpert's interview about guarding kobe.
