Nice video, but I have a couple pointers/corrections. First of all, pyraminx is scrambled with green in front and yellow on the bottom. Second, it's illegal to start a solve with the intention of getting a dnf, but it's not illegal to dnf halfway through if you mess it up (and even if it was illegal, the penalty would just be a dnf anyway). Sarah strong is a delegate and she does this regularly

I havent been to a competition yet thank you for the heads up on the rules

There should be a sound in CStimer which says "UR LyING tO uRseLF" after not entering the +2 or DNF

I didn't know there was an algorithm you couldn't use at competition with the H permutation. Also I have been scrambling it with the orange face of the cube in from and the yellow face facing up so I've learned something new that I won't do again at home.

On many occasions I have accidentally just barely touch my cube when it bounces after I stop the timer and I think many people forget that that is considered a +2 and should be counted as such

But why?! If you're just aligning the cube after the solve without doing additional moves, you don't get DQ'd.

It doesn’t make any sense, when I am practising at home, I do want my average to show how fast I really am. That one last move just wouldn’t take me 2 seconds, if I count it as +2 than the average (I mean like ao1000, not ao5 or something like that) is just not accurate.

U2 counts as one move, which means it's a +2

If it's 1 turn away (90° as single move or 180° as double move, U2 as well) that's a +2. If it's slice turn away (M, E or S), that's a DNF.

What happens if youre about to start the timer, but you release your hands before it starts? Can you simply just start it again, or is there some sort of penalty or dnf?

In some competitions some events like square 1 they have a format of : bo2/ao5. Which one is it? Average of 5 or best of 2? How can it be both?

I lost my first Pyra sub-5 to a +2 and it really hurt, but I just didn't want to have a really good PB while knowing that I cheated because that would ruin my PB even more. After about 1 more week I finally got a real sub 5 btw, so I didn't end up having to wait for long luckily. Also yes, I suck at pyra

U know i am so wca law abiding that even it is ok to misscramble fot 6×6 and 7×7 when i get a miscramble i still solve then and scramble again because at the back of my head knowing i never actually got that scramble

So am I allowed to stop the timer with my palms? (I thought it gad to be with the fingers both starting and stopping) Also am I allowed to use noise cancelling headphones with only the noise cancelling function turned on? (it's an electronic device but I'm not sure) Thank you!

What is the site you use to get scrambuls

i wouldn't even cube if i were to follow those regulations while practicing, they're horrible for playing at home/at gym. music on, dnf and +2 are deleted, wca scrambles are totally ignored, doing random 3 second scramble instead, timing it on phone(only while doing cardio). that is how i practice to feel improvement and have the will to practice more, as i get better times every week i guess i'll buy a stackmat and practice using wca regulation when i'll hear that there will be a competition nearby
