    I watched a video with a girl using a similar method, and I was excited. I stopped doing sew ins because the thread was harsh to my scalp. The thread would rub against my scalp, causing bald spots. It was just bad. My hair loves crochets.. but i miss the human hair. That crochet human hair is so expensive. Thanks for the video... You explained everything well.. And a great tutor. Please do a take-down video. Thanks again.😊

    3/11/23 Good morning I don't know what year this really posted but it is smart & creative. I saw on another channel instead of going back in once the install with the synthetic hair to hold it if it's secure then just run a edge brush ( toothbrush) across it some fly always will appear but those will be what u use to brush down it will look as if it yours. I will look for her vide & send it to you🇯🇲

    A Hailine Tutorial will be made as soon as physically possible. Hairline tip: First, cut hair off weft, (the longer in length the better) Then, secure 1 end anywhere along the length of the cornrow you are working with (just pick a spot and wrap it around), Next, loop the other end in thin tip needle, point needle toward hairline & pull the hair out at the hairline (repeat this step until hairline is filled in as desired) - with practice you can pull both ends out at the hairline (after you anchor one end)

    I'm actually amazed! But that was mannequin head ; the technique seems harmless, however, it looks very tight . I would imagine the stylist will have to start with a.very loose base braid to accommodate the possible tension. Especially those of us who hair is beginning to thin. This is a very unique styling skill level...are you doing training for stylists?

  • @magnifiedmane2292

    @magnifiedmane2292

    Жыл бұрын

    Hello Joy21: I did not gain timely-consent prior to uploading this video to include actual models - However, this technique is VERY harmless and great for self-installation (as the other techniques are more difficult for self-installation). You can make the CornRows as tight as you or your client needs to be. You will still have access to the scalp to perform wash and treatment regimens (especially for thinning hair). As far as training - This is it - this is the 100% FREE training (just determine the look you are trying to achieve, Cornrow hair & install) - just practice - ask all your questions here, we (& others) - will try to answer them - it's just a matter of practicing. Any other form of training will not be free.

    This video was SOOOOO helpful and much needed! Question: do you have to use double weft or can it be done with a single row? I don’t like my head to be too full, so I’m curious to know if that method could work. Thank you!

  • @magnifiedmane2292

    @magnifiedmane2292

    Жыл бұрын

    @JNatt - The answer to your question is no, you don't have to use double wefts. you can use single wefts wherever you don't need/want to make the invisible method (places where no one sees/ places where other tracks will cover the area). However, your weft needs to be full (not scanty/thin) to provide coverage for your invisible/seamless technique (places where you want to make an invisible par, pull up into a ponytail or make a bun). So, you may want to double your wefts in a few spots in the front for your desire part and do a seamless hairline as seen in video #7. I hope this helps.

    I hope you answer this before the end of this week🙏🏿🙏🏿 but wanted to know for the initial "stitch" you said dont knot the end but how to you keep the braiding hair from slipping out when your stitching/looping? Is it just the knot when the braiding hair is done at the end that holds it?

  • @magnifiedmane2292

    When you are sewing (the track down) with the braiding hair - Yes, you can knot the ends (as you would a thread) -- just remember to go back and cut excess bulky looking pieces that may be sticking out (especially if it doesn't not match the hair you are using to weave). I hope I answered your question.

    @@thequeenicee8835 Yes. Treat it the exact same way as if you are sewing with needle and thread. The reason for sewing with braiding hair is for length retention and less breakage (the braiding hair wrapping around the CornRows = protection). You can sew with any color braiding hair just make sure is safe-braiding hair like Xpression

    Absolutely!!!!! You can use whatever you want to sew. But keep in mind thread cuts hair after a while (so be careful) & the braiding hair helps to hide the spots that was missed when covering (especially if the weft hair is thin). But be creative. We made the loop big enough for user-creativity. Method 3 coming soon !!!!!

  • @magnifiedmane2292

    @magnifiedmane2292

    10 күн бұрын

    The weft should be doubled (you will have more hair to work with to avoid area with no hair where it's needed). I cannot answer your question regarding the amount of hair needed to complete the installation because it all depends on several things unknown to me (size of head, type of hair, cornRow pattern, hair-parting, desired outcome etc. etc.) -- Thanks
