I can relate to you when you first started Aaron. Having kids, low on funds. I've been watching your videos for years just day dreaming about getting your class and doing it all. Gotta share my story onntye importance of the filter. I run my 4gpm off a a cargo carrier of my pick-up. Doing a surface job, having a great day and landscapers show up. Said they'll be done one 20 (small property in NYC) i let em go ahead and left my whisper wash just standing in tye driveway. Guy bumps it and the handle fell on the grass. No big deal. The coupling pick up a perfect plug of lawn lol. Now i dont even run with a buffer tank. If i need to let off the trigger i just unhook and let the water flow out of my ball valve. When i start back up and squeeze the trigger, nothing. I know immediately what it is, but not my whole system is under pressure. Cant even uncouple anyyyything. Run and shut down. Take off the tips, all clogged, this happens about 3 times (i flushed the whole system for 10 minutes each time) now im back running regular but i left my rachet set on the rail.of my truck bed. That whole thing vibrated off, everything was in the neighbors lawn and it added like 90 min to the job. August weather, pure sunny day. And i low balled the price because it was a friend of a friend and a super straight forward job. Those tips clogged midway on the next 2 jobs. Filter, ratchet set, pick set is a mustttttttt

What’s a good soft wash system to pick up for someone just starting out? I can downstream but from what I seen, a soft wash system is huge

I use the dental pick for changing o-rings more than anything

Located in sunny Naples, Florida we are going after high-ticket sales and your videos haven given me the knowledge to hit it off at high levels from the get-go. The trailer is ready to rock ‘n’ roll and coming from a real estate background over many years, sales pitches are pretty easy at high levels. Now to start closing deals. Many pitches out there the first week both commercial and residential, we are about to hit it. Had a few that were too high apparently and some where HOA associations are not quite ready. First photo taken is house number on front of the house or mailbox to identify property. My man must forward photos to get paid for job. I also use a digital camera for a part time helper to use who does not want a phone.

That filer for the surface cleaner, what’s it’s called? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

I know this guy! He looked up to a lot of us in the music industry. Not that we were much better, he was just that short. During set change I’d leave the mic on the stool so he would have to reach too far up to grab it.

oops i stopped by to check on my old pal Aaron and accidently dropped my 2 cents! How you been man? Im suprised the relief valve made the list ive never activated my pressure relief valve. is your pump set up to bypass back to your buffer tank when you are off the trigger? Also, the unloader advice made me cringe a lil bit. I used to mess with mine, and i would go through pumps quick. When you buy a factory machine you really are not suppose to touch that unloader, it is already set exactly where it is suppose to be. and for the surface cleaner i actually removed the entire handle/trigger on mine after it broke and i removed the inline filter. I installed a quick connect and just hook my ball valve to the surface cleaner line. Now my ball valve is the trigger. We ended up getting alot more power and flow out of our surface cleaner too. The only reason they typically come with a handle and filter is really for saftey reasons. If you can filter your water with a mesh filter before and after the buffer tank you really shouldnt have issues with clogged tips.

Original pumps since 2017; that relief valve is prob the reason they’ve lasted so long. Hope you’re well bro!

One of my biggest concerns about starting a pressure wash biz is the maintenance. I’m handy but far from any kind of mechanic or plumber. How do you learn how to fix all that shit in the field?

I'm about to my own washer business. Could please share with me all the links where you bought your starter kits. I have about $1500 to start. Not sure if that is enough though.
