Kinda funny. I found your video after ordering some EG smoke grenades. I was getting them just to have fun with in the desert, but I had no idea smoke grenade photography was a thing. Really cool. Thanks for the tips. Now I have something new to try.

Great video, my favorite is with flash. In an other style, I like the work of butch locsin. Thanks for this video, I hope the detail one with flashes will come soon!

do you advise use a fan? to "blow away" the smoke covering the model ??
How do you make sure that you’re View finder and monitor are displaying at centre exposure so that you can expose properly in your camera so it’s perfect out of the camera?

Learn about the histogram! It will be able to convert from your camera to your monitor screen for a balanced exposure. If you are talking about the white balance you can get a color calibrator for your computer monitor!
Smoke bombs are considered pyrotechnics not fireworks we use those for airsoft for mill sim events

My bad, I was just trying to say they aren't toys.
I’m lazy, or maybe I’m not, but I add smoke in post because I don’t want to be responsible for burning things down - maybe one day I’ll trust myself enough to try these out 😂🤣

Just make sure its not too dry and you'll be fine!
My favourite way of using smoke bombs is leaving them in the bag...or as a paperweight.
