I got my copy in a bundle when I bought my PS4 slim. I'd never heard of the game, had no idea I was supposed to hate it so I got on with the serious business of loving it. Still playing it today.

I've heard plenty of times that people who picked it up without expectations loved it. It was mainly the people who bought into the hype that were disappointed. Then there was me who bought into the hype and still wasn't disappointed. lol Thanks for sharing!

Sean Sean’s Sean is hilarious title

The craziest thing I've witnessed was the Crescendo System. A Star System by ByteBeat musicians. A one time big music festival. Of course, when Crescendo got featured on the Anomaly, people started setting up a ton of bases, breaking the festival. Including the chill Gek-Nip plantation and Gek-Nip Grinder in the back. At this point, I got the bangers, they are my trophy of my favourite moment in the game, community wise. Most of the ByteBeat creators moved onto other games. If we got a record-collection thing, to swap out songs, I would love to find more ByteBeat. It's crazy that the endgame includes music production.

Oh yeah! I'd heard about that system. It is pretty cool that we can collect music. A lot of the best music I've seen have been DJ'd live, swapping instruments and parts on and off. Really cool niche in the community. Thanks for commenting!

As a content creator myself I just wanna say man people could take notes off of you, you cover nms from such a different angle that any other youtubers would be afraid of because of the effort required. I loved the game Starflight as a little kid and No Man's Sky has always felt like a modern-day spiritual successor to it. I didn't know that Low Mem Sky existed but wow, wow, that's Starflight!

Anyone remember Norman's Sky? It was another fan demake like Low Res Sky, but was in first person and released like a month before the actual NMS

I got there recently "Pilgrim Star" but it looks like it is not the same as it was before. Could be the updates i don't know... Sadly it did not count for the Personal Titles Thumbs up! Really enjoyed it

You have the highest professional quality content I've seen covering NMS, and although some might argue that a professional tone has to be boring/uninvested (I disagree) I'd say for any games in general; even above companies whose job is to produce professional game reviews. I subscribed on the first video I saw, and I was so surprised that (at the time) you had only 1k subscribers. I think it's just a matter of exposure taking time, as I only found you because I was in YT Search looking for various versions of some update I felt wasn't being covered well enough by what I'd seen so far. The important part is that you were on like page 3, but you had the best video by far compared to all the giants. You'll likely jump massively in subscriber count if you do some coops with other major content creators for the games you cover.

While I am a long time player of NMS (since it dropped), my favorite game to revisit after a long hiatus is Shadow Of The Collossus. Such a perfect game, in all aspects. I even traded my PS4 in for a PS4 Pro, just so I could play the remake in all it's immutable glory.

Yo great channel dude. Though as someone who's recently subbed to your channel, the music being the same track can get a bit grindy on the ears. Though everything else is perfectly fine! In fact you let people see enough footage to let them ponder, so good editing there. The fact that you link nearly everything you talk about also is something I see not even some bigger creators do, so I'll be able to more easily check out the stuff. On the topic of being a No Man's Sky veteran though, I have played since Beta, though sadly I wasn't active enough to see some of these things. In fact, I didn't know what the expeditions were and I genuinely thought they weren't that important. Thanks for the history update though! I played this game since I was a teen (when it first released)

Thanks for the feedback! I went ahead and switched up the backing track on my latest video for today. The messaging on expeditions was a bit vague. It was the sort of feature that makes sense once you give it a try. I originally wasn't interested at all when they were first announced, but when I gave it a shot it ended up being one of my favorite ways to play. Thanks again for watching!

@@Kanaju I still think they should make expeditions available, you're already still able to access them through a bit of coding (I saved myself the effort and used an editor) so why not just add them to an archive mode? The code's still there, and cheating to get the expeditions is just not an option. I already hate other games for seasonal things where I straight up just can't experience content that existed only for a certain time

The Seanining was a weird one. I always assumed it was just a dude acting silly for laughs, nothing more. I mean he was just modding his own game and sharing videos of it, completely harmless. But there were news articles talking about how he was "entitled and butthurt" and just kept ridiculing him at every turn.

Hey man! Thanks for the super cool interesting vid. Some I did not know and I was one of those plays 2016 that bought NMS WITHOUT knowing anything about NMS. I was captiveed just by the words on the ps4 brochure that advertised the game and others inside of my ps4 box bought brand new then. Never at that time I never watched any trailers or anything. I played the game a I was hooked yeah I was one who hated all the glitch and falling out of worlds etc but still I was captivated by the potential. But what made me stay was that you can own you own freighter ship😍🤩 and then tones of update for free. I to never regreted buy the first copy nms. Still one of the best game communities ever and hello games is awesome. Thanks for a awesome game for years all my star wars like game fantasy became more true.. No... No man's sky will always be a original awesome space game that changes everything in a awesome way. All true and genuine. 🎉

I parked my freighter in a low orbit over a planet, then jumped off it. I fell from space and landed on my feet.

Fallout 76 isn't as bad as it used to be. It is following in NMS's footsteps. Gradually adding content and fixing problems as they go. As far as the rebuilding goes, I'd say it's about where Atlas Rises was, or maybe even Next.

There's also that one super handsome, super crazy dude that made the official playing cards!

I personally don't mind them being smaller than real life, but gas giants that dwarfed rocky planets in the game would be a neat addition. Of course, I wouldn't complain about both larger AND smaller planets and moons with proportional gravity... Thanks for commenting!

Hahaha to be fair I was just using prominent examples of games that disappointed players at launch. I don't typically regret my game purchases since I make them so rarely and usually on sale. 🤑 If you enjoy Fallout 76, don't let anyone tell you different. @@Kanaju you should probably give it a shot, lots of changes have made the game a blast to play like multiple quest lines, daily quests and engaging exploration and events Something that does kinda fuck with the experience is taking it way to seriously, it tends to make the game tedious though if you take it a little slower and don't min max to hard you'll have a good time

When the game first launched, like many others.. I flew to the galactic center. After that I tasked with visiting as many worlds near the center as I could. I renamed EVERYTHING FFace; minerals, plants, animals and planets themselves and mined three holes in all the mineral formations, rendering them stylized faces. Sad it's all gone. 🤘🧙‍♂️🤘
