    1. Make crate Disneyland - play in/around crate (hide food under bowls) - normalise crate (5 times a day, 5-10 mins) - open and close - feed in crate with slow feeder, door open then slowly close over days - food and groov

The Guide elaborates on the techniques used on the show. The examples given in the kzread.infoUgkxECnmSvBSv_NGWx4_ChD73pF3NYZwI2F3 are helpful and some of the techniques suggested very useful. One such technique/tool suggested was the lure stick to encourage a small dog to keep up with the heel command. I have a small dog who lags behind smelling any and everything and find it hard to keep bending over while walking to his level. The lure stick is great also for another dogs focus and sprinting at anything that catches her eye. The stories about different dogs, their different temperaments, have been helpful, especially Lulu's: After reading about Lulu's challenges I felt relief concerning one of my rescues that I have had for 10 years. Over many years I have checked out many training books from the library, watched different shows, DVDS, bought training books, taken lessons and this book is the best by far! Kindness, patience and perseverance works.

I am newly obsessed with your videos!! I am picking up our new puppy tomorrow (6/17/22) and I have learned so much over the last couple weeks! I even got a used Diggs crate to prepare for crate training. I also went and purchased raw/freeze dried dog food to transition my older dog and new puppy to. I am learning so much. I also want to mention that dog insurance was something I now know to purchase as soon as i get a puppy 😊. Thank you so much for preparing me this time around for training a puppy. 💜🐶🐶

Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge. Emily doesn’t have an issue with her crate at bedtime only when I go out. Today I put treats in her crate after breakfast. I put her inside & sat on the floor with the crate door open. She was suspicious at first but then relaxed. I later had to step out. I put her in the crate with treats & walked away. She whimpered a little bit but didn’t frantically bark. I called my son & he said she was calm downstairs in her crate & never cried. I know there’s more practice to do but I’m incredibly impressed how well your advise works. More comments to come in your other videos. Can we send pics? Would love to show off my baby girl. She’s a Maltese/Havanese mix.

Hello, new miniature poodle pup mom here. He comes home in two weeks and I’m thinking of getting this crate, but how does the divider work with them potting? Are you placing them on the smaller side or can they walk to that side themselves?

I want to say that I think sometimes with some dogs you can’t just starts train them right away “hour 1” because when I first got my dog he had separation anxiety from his mom and his litter siblings so he was depressed and couldn’t just train home right away

Go onto Facebook marketplace, craigslist, or even your local thrift shops but I would call them To see if they have them before going all over town.

Watching all of your videos to prepare for our new fur baby I really love this crate but not sure about the size and if my dog mini labradoodle will grow out of this. How is Wally fitting into the crate now?

Hey, Rachel! I love your videos so much! I've been watching them for a couple of months now in preparation for my new puppy. He comes home this Saturday! I need to be sure about one thing: Is it okay to start raw feeding at 8 weeks old? Did you and Mom do raw feeding with Wally right away, or was it just a raw topper on the kibble?

Hi Rachel! I love these tips! i have been working with my puppy for a few weeks but I definitely need to be more consistent which i will start doing more of. What are you recommendations for those of us who work from home to start leaving the dog home alone in the crate? she's fine in the crate when we are around, and even when she's napping, but we've had her for 3 weeks now and haven't left her home alone yet! SOS because we want to prevent separation anxiety. thank you!!

I loved watching your videos and tips. Before I ordering the Diggs Crate, should I need to get my female Bichon puppy a Revol Crate cover? Also, our bedrooms are upstairs, it’s ok to have her crate in our bed room or outside in the loft?

This video was by far the best that I’ve seen. I watched 3 before this video. My dog is barley liking his crate. Do I put him in his crate at night? I don’t want scare him if he is barley getting use to it.

I am bringing a mini bernedoodle that’s 10 weeks old next week. He is projected to be 22-25 lbs. We are purchasing a diggs crate - do you think a small or medium size crate would be better? Thank you!

Hello Rachel! should i only have one crate and move it around as you have stated here, or have multiple crates in different rooms as I move through out the day? Home office, bedroom for night time and family room for evenings?

Hey Rachel! We are looking at this one dog we want to adopt and she is a yorkie that was rescued from a hoarding situation so she is very shy and kind of scared of new things. Also, even though she is an adult, she isn't potty trained because again of the hoarding situation. Any tips on things to do? Especially on potty training an adult dog

Hi Rachel, what size is the Diggs crate you purchased for Wally? I also have a new goldendoodle puppy, he is currently 11 weeks old and by looking at his parents size most likely will not be over 45-50 lbs. Would the medium crate be an ideal size for him?
