You are a MASTER trainer. EASY to understand...GREAT voice and pacing. Than you for providing this series.
Although I had been doing a few of these myself, you hit on some cool tricks I hadn't found yet. 😉 Thank you! Even though I've been a professional graphic designer for decades, I love the fun of creating in Keynote!
I've been using Keynote for years but you just taught me some awesome new techniques that are visually appealing. THANK YOU for the generous file sharing too. ◡̈
What a great video!!! I wanted to make a "neon sign" for my daughters' playroom and came across this tutorial. So cool!! The sign looks amazing - wish I could post it here!!
Embrossed one is genuinely out of the box!
Thank you! This was great! I've been using Keynote since 1.0 and this helped stretch my options. I'd love to see some videos on advanced animations (I use Magic Move a lot already).
Thank you so much for your expert tutorial Mike. It was really fun! And so generous of you to share the files.
Love this. Thank you for sharing!!!
just wanna say thank you for sharing this video. you are amazing!!!!
excellent training, Mike. As a long-time ppt user, I needed someone to give me the courage to use this Mac software.
I am obsessed with your videos. Pls make more. Thank you !
Fantastic video Mike, very well explained!
Thank you so much. I’ve been searching for just this subject. Great job.
Love your style and teaching. Awesome
Absolutely golden, thank you!
Love the Neon. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing! I was looking for something simpler to be able to turn text into dashed/dotted lines in order to make it suitable for tracing. I’m not sure if that’s possible in Keynote. I like this video though. I definitely think these are interesting ideas for playing around with text.
Excellent display of Keynote techniques Mike. Thanks. Sub’d.
Thank you. It was super cool!
Never thought its possible. Loveddd it!!! ♥
Thank you for the great tutorial! These are really great text effects! The last one looks super dope!!!
Thank you so much for your sharing. Those are wonderful tricks.
Super cool tutorial ! Would you create more content like this on how to design an amazing presentation using effects and other cool stuff? More like the One Skill PowerPoint channel but using Keynote instead? You're clearly an expert. Thanks for sharing !
Thank you VERY much!!
Hello and thank you for sharing such a great tutorial! I’m super excited to try neon. Can you please tell me which version of keynote you’re using? When I select outline no options come up to change the colour or thickness of the outline. My Mac is around 5 years old and I’ve never updated the keynote. EDIT***** OK I updated my keynote and it's there now, thank you *****
Thanks for creating this video. I learned a lot.
Brilliant ideas ✨💫✨ Thanks so much for the files and for explaining the process so clearly 👍🏻

really cool!
Thank you very much! really helpful!
Thank you Mike, this was Very useful! 🏆🇬🇧
What a FANTASTIC tutorial, thanks so much!!! I appreciate the pace of your voice because many tutorials, they talk so fast I have to backtrack many times because I write everything down. I'm about to go and give it a try, I really love this effect, thanks again. I would've preferred that the five tutorials were all separate so that we could just choose the ones that we wanted to learn instead of going through the whole entire tutorial, or at least, at the beginning of the tutorial when you start a new one, show what the end result is right then so we can choose whether we want to learn that particular effect or not, instead of going through the whole thing to see if we like the end result.
Thanks fir helping me out
Beautiful!
Awesome Video!

Excellent 👌
Learned so much from this. Question. When I double click an image to crop when I drag down the center alignment line guide disappears. How come? Thanks!
Wow, cool! 👍
very helpful
I love Keynote already but thanks to you, now I love it even more 😅 Question: is it possible to take a text box, write the word or phrase and bend it into different shapes while maintaing the integrity of the text? Eg. To follow the curvature of a semi circle or in a snaking wavy shape a long a straight line? I hope i am not too late asking since you posted this video 2 yrs ago. Thank you
👍👍👍Very nice! I wish I could give this video more than one thumbs up!👍👍👍

You're an artist! Congrats and thank you so much! Any idea on how to create dynamic text on Keynote?

Call from Norway! Thank you for a very nice video ! I am trying the PAINT option, but can not get the shadow on the text right. Do I have to use the font that you use to get this right, or can I use any font ?
This was very helpful. thank you. Technically pressed in would be DEBOSSED. EMBOSSED would be bumped up. 😉
Great tutorial! I'm curious. How do you do the zooming when you zoom in on the right panel in keynote?

your video is much much better than the likes you have got, 👌👌👌❤️
This is very helpful. Can I do all of this on the iPad??
Hi Mike, I'm working on an interactive (links only) presentation. Some of the text is in another language but I would like to create a pop-up of the English word when it is clicked on. Is there a way to do that in Keynote? Thanks for any help.
Great TIPs thats why I love keynotes, thanks a lots for this video. Great job
great
Just seeing this now after two years! Great effects to do right in Keynote - thanks. Just some corrections in some of your wording. Being an old typesetter, you should know that kerning refers to individual letters. What you are doing here is letter spacing. It's a common error. Also, the "embossing" effect is technically de-bossing. If you reverse the shadows it becomes embossing. Another common error.
In the neon one, it looks like you sent the second text behind the brick wall backdrop giving no additional effect.
How do you get the two lines to meet in the middle? To know what is the middle of the page?
Hi Mike I am getting this when trying to open file: Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request What am I missing or need to do?
Great video and tutorial - the link to the Zip file is not working.
Hope they Unlock more features on the iPads..sooner
