Just do the general shape of the liner with your eye open, looking straight :) then you can define it normally. keep it really fine and only at the last third of your eye and you will be good to go 😊

It's pretty much the same the only problem is we hooded eyes cannot do the wing line. Because of the excess skin on the corner of our eyes. It will just fold, in my case I have hooded and droopy eyes so I stop doing the wing liner or cat eye. 🥺

Since I do have oily skin, I do struggle with my eye make up and I live in very humid country, and it ended up looking like I have an eyebags. I'm glad your here to rescue 💗

Thank you for this series! I love how you break things down step by step with visual aids. Eyeshadow makeup I often see online seems so hard to replicate, so I pretty much just put makeup on my eyes hoping for a good result. Everytime. Haha. How you explained trasition colors and makeup placement on this video stood out to me.

Mistake #4 has always been my problem, and yes, it's because of the fluffy brush I use 😂 the fluffy brush was too big for my eye area so I bought a smaller one and that fixed it all for me!

Oh 6:41 that's really helpful, no wonder I looked like I clown. Love the video and how you broke down each of the tutorials.

This video is super helpful because I am now starting to learn how to properly do my own eye makeup. But I am struggling since I have my lower eyebrow. Which makes a small space between my lid to the brow bone 😔 It's actually easier for me to apply eye makeup on my siblings with have a more space between the lid and brow bone for eyeshadow.

6:44 haley i really like your channel and the tips you give but i disagree with not going over the crease FOR PEOPLE WITH "TIGHTER" DOUBLE EYELIDS THAN HALEY: blend your transition colour above your eyelid crease! you don't need to go all the way to your browbone but we double-lidded people should bring it higher. if you don't, then the transition shadows disappear into the fold and the lack of visible transition between the darker lashline (below crease) and the light base colour (above the crease) makes the eyeshadow look really off.

Smoky eyes are so hard to do it. I would be grateful if you could feature it your next tutorials. I don't think I have a right technique because I always end up looking like a panda.🤣

Finding the best blush shades for skin tones also depends on undertones. You might be dark brown, medium brown, light, pale. Depending on your skin color there are 4 undertones, cool, warm, neutral, and olive. For fair skin use light, rosy, sheer pinks For light/medium olive skins use peach and rosy shades For medium skin tones use deep pinks/mauve shades For dark skin use deeper colors (not too bold) such as red/berry colors. Now let’s test your undertones If you look good in silver jewelry- you’re most likely cool undertone and should use more rosy bubblegum shades If you look good in gold jewelry- you’re most likely a warm undertone so coral-orangey shades will suite you. If you look good in both you most likely have neutral undertone so nude blush shades colors will suit you If you’re olive undertone use peachy shades

I have a big crease and a small lid (with eyes open) so I used to go over it to even make the eyeshadow more visable. But you suggest just leaving that bare? Or with light highlight colors? I think it would look strange if I do the lid and crease and skip the top part completely, and you would barely see my eyeshadow when I would look straight forward 😅

That's a good point. I saw a lot of videos saying that people with hooded eyes should put eyeshadow a bit over the crease to give the illusion that the lid space is bigger.

I go over my crease too when putting eyeshadow because if I close my eyes and put eyeshadow, the whole product gets hidden on the crease 😂

Thank you I learned quite a few things from your video. My friend has oily skin and her make up disappear so fast around her eyes. I will tell her to wipe off any moisturizer. And put a little powder before applying. Is there anything else that might help it last? Thank you so much

notes : -lessen moisturizer/sunscreen product on eye area with tissue -use a fluffy brush for the eyeshadow -don't put on too much concealer. put concealer on hand then dab it on eye to only get a few concealer product

I always have smudges and end up with panda eyes or sensitive skin due to cleaning of the smudges through out the day.

You have good tutorials here. I saw one that is a no make-up look. But I want a quick make-up (5 minutes), less product, no make-up look. Is that possible? Im more of lips and eyebrow do. I just rub my lips with lip color then rub it in my eyelid too. Then I dont really cared how do I looked. . I mean, its better than facing my students and officemates with bare face right? With all the flaws and everything?

but consealer also has hydrating ingredients meaning if you put it on your eye lids it will break down your makeup as well. better to just use it under the eyes and use an eyeprimer instead...

The key that she didn't mention is also to use a powder product your skin tone color or a neutral one ! Because it's not noticeable you can powder your lid all over evenly, and it will also help absorb the excess oil better and then makes for an easily blendable and soft look

Rubbing our eyes a lot is the reason we have coloration on our eyes and the primary cause of eyebags. Is it avoidable if you pat your eyes when cleaning?

other than that you should have at least one to two focal points in your makeup rather than just "glammifing" the whole face. focus on any two focal points eyes/brows, or blush/lips, brows/lips etc... these can also vary from what suits your face. Its possible not every one of these pairings might suit you depending on what part of the face you want to highlight and enhance or what flaws you wish to hide, so it might also be if you think that your eye makeup doesn't look good maybe you should highlight another area like the brows or lips or any other combo i cant explain all of it, but the details can be found in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qqGZqNizqs6ahso.html
