I am in the UK and on a healthcare visa since from the last two years. Now I want to change a sponsor with a different occupation code ( Like restaurant or Tack away Shop). In this case, my two years of health care visa are countable when I will apply for ILR? So I just need 3 years of sponsorship visa is this ok or not? And, as a couple, i am the main applicant and my husband is on a dependent visa. if we change the main applicant and I become dependent in this case my last two years count in ILR? Thanks in advance. please guide me.

Hi, I applied from outside the UK and just got my skilled worker visa. Can my employer complete the right to work check prior to entry? Does the right to work check need to be completed prior to when the visa vignette validity expires? Many thanks!

Employer can only do right to work check once you have entered the UK, it has to be done, before you start working for your employer

new 38700 salary threshold will not apply, but they will be subject to a minimum base rate of 29000(instead of 26200)

From outside the UK, I submitted my skilled worker visa on February 5, 2024. My biometric appointment is on March 21, 2024. According to the "Statement of Changes in Immigration Rules" published on 14 March 2024, “SW 4.2. The applicant must be awarded 20 points from one of the options in the table below and for the purpose of meeting these points: (b) An applicant can only be awarded points from options F to J if: (ii) the date of application is before 4 April 2030, they were granted permission as a Skilled Worker under the rules in place before 4 April 2024, and they have had continuous permission as a Skilled Worker since then (except that where paragraph 39E applies, that period of overstaying will be disregarded). What qualifies an applicant as "granted permission as a Skilled Worker under the rules in place before 4 April 2024"? Does the valid from date on the visa vignette need to be before 4 April 2024 to qualify for points to be awarded from options F to J when I extend/renew my visa in 2026?

You will have the overstay ban of atleast 1 year

If a company makes one reduntant and one has paid the visa fees for 3 years and still 2 years are left..is there are way to get it back. Evryone has been giving different answers. Cause IHS should be given back ...

you only get IHS refund when you make an application and pay new IHS, however, if you are not submitting any new application and pay the new IHS, then you don't get any refund
