I can’t wait to see them with about 20 games under their belt. They already look great. After some fine tuning, there’s no limit.

I think in order for Tatum to really crack that top 2-3 in MVP voting he needs to do three things: 1. Become a more efficient shooter. Less threes attempts and more post-ups in the paint is a good start. Taking advantage of smaller players in the paint could also lead to more FT attempts and possibly more assists. 2. Keep developing as a facilitator. He averaged 4.6apg last season and he has enough offensive weapons around him that he could possibly raise that number to around 6.6apg. Now that there's the possibility of a Tatum/Jrue or Tatum/KP pick & roll,it should improve their late game decision making. 3. Go all out on defense where he actually makes an All-Defensive 1st or 2nd team. He's got the speed, length and athleticism where he could average 10rpg,1stl & 1blk and we've seen him lock up players at times during the playoffs. What it really comes down to is,will he be willing to put in that type of effort on defense night after night?

If Celtics finish with best regular season record in NBA and Tatum averages 26pts, 10reb, 6ass, and a steal a game I think that will be good enough to win MVP even if Jokic does Jokic stat lines. Sticking point is at least a double double and more than 5 assists.

The Celtics have a great roster and look like championship favorites with the big 4 remember the 2004 Lakers had the big 4 and they got destroyed in the finals by a team with no all stars.

The main difference is 2 of thei stars were over the hill in Malone and Payton, and Shaq/Kobe were fighting everyday basically. It was some of the worst team chemistry imaginable. Also kobe and Malone feuded cause Malone supposedly hit on Kobe's wife.
