Mobile phone & watch still required! How heavy are they for all day wear? What height can you drop them from with no damage? 1.5M 2 M ?

Can ypu see the real world while using extra screens? I wanna use it in conjuction with an ipad. I wanna have sceens from the mac and use ipad ,as well. Can ypu lock the screen in a place,eo it does not move with ypu head?

@@mygoogle1525 I will try and answer the way I can. The pros use Electrochromic Dimming, so with a press of a button you can 0%, 35% and 100% blackout. But this will blackout your vision within the glasses so you want be able to see what’s in front of you with that option. What you will need is the beam. This add on allows you to have a few extra options.smooth follow will move the screen around with you in a smooth motion. Fix view will make the screen stay on a fix position, this I use all the time. And there is a pin option where it will pin a small screen in the corner leaving you to be able to view your surroundings, assuming you don’t have the glasses in full black out.

Fixed screen, when the screen is fixed in a set position, I use this all the time. And you also have an option to pin a small screen in the corner of your vision. Meaning that you can see what’s going on, but also see the screen all be it smaller. If you connect to the Mac, you have another option to have 3x screens pinned in space. This doesn’t require the extra beam addon.

Hmm. These are 3 different categories of tech, but the video does not make that clear. The xreal and meta are not like the others, and aren't comparable to each other.

I thought it was so cool when extended wear contacts came out. And now this. I've been alive long enough to see the internet come out, mobile phones come out, then cell phones into smart phones. To see social media come out (which totally has destroyed a whole generation), starting with Prodigy and AOL and IRC. I've seen it all come out. Amazing. What next? I wonder if there are some smart glasses that just automatically adjust to your vision prescription. Is there such a thing? I know my eye doctor has a machine that automatically adjusts to the prescription so you can see. Why no glasses?

Glasses have to be specifically pre made and the thickness of the material plus the radius of the front and back side are specific to your vision loss. Thus it's not possible to auto correct your lack of vision digitally.

Yesterday I went to the Rayban store. And got disappointed. It's just an old spyglass with cheap sound speakers. I think I'm not that smart to understand what makes it a smart glass. A touch gesture maybe? Lol lol

The rayban have a excellent transition and are excellent for bifocal. I love mine, but one has to charge after 8 hrs of use if you listen to music and KZread, The case charges them well!

Did they solve any of the social / legal /creepy issues that sunk Google Glass? No? When you fix those social issues, then things can proceed. Super-shiny lenses don't do that.
