5 Best Ruger 10/22 Models Ever Made: 2024 Ultimate List!

Everyone who has shot a .22 LR rifle has probably heard of, or even shot the Ruger 10/22. It’s the most popular .22 LR rifle in the US, and one reason why it’s so popular is because of its reliability.
But reliability isn't the only reason to adore the Ruger 10/22. I still remember the day my father handed me my first 10/22 and proudly claimed that it was accurate enough to cut a hanging thread. Skeptical as I was, the rifle proved him right, and I soon became a force to be reckoned with when it came to varmints around our property.
Also, the 10/22 offers limitless possibilities for customization. Apart from AR rifles, no other firearm serves as a blank canvas for the amateur gunsmith quite like the 10/22. You can tinker with it to your heart's content, swapping out barrels, triggers, stocks, extractors, and whatever else tickles your fancy. And it has many variants to choose from but that fact begs the question: which 10/22 variant is the perfect fit for you?

Ya, that price point just tells you how much the dollar has lost in value. That $389 dollar rifle , I picked up at Sears for $89, brand new. So the very same rifle has quadrupled in price, but is basically exactly the same. Hmm, do ya think they built fresh new tooling? How about maybe they're using better alloy's. Nope, wages went up and to compensate, so did prices.
