I'm sure they're a good college but I find it ironic that they offer an Artificial Intelligence program when their "chat with a bot" on their website doesn't even answer questions very well. You think they'd hire someone to program more "intelligent" AI software to answer students questions. That'd be an ultimate form of advertisement for them for that program alone if they could accomplish that. Especially if they showcase that someone similar to an AI student are the types of people that designed the programming. Something like,... *This chat bot is designed by one of our very own AI program's students* They'd probably have more students and/or popularity than they could shake a stick at. Like all businesses though, even colleges, money is always one of the biggest obstacles.
This video is incredible really I need a degree for that next step, I have an Associates Degree and I am afraid of schools saying we can not accept anything and you have to start over. I might do a sit down talk and go over the degree path. Really its just a piece of paper that says you did something hard and stuck to it.

It’s a bit overwhelming playing the return to college game. Especially with transferring credits. One thing you didn’t touch on with these 5 schools is how they might evaluate older courses / “expired” credits. I think with pandemic era, there are tons of people with older credits they’d like to apply to a new or finishing degree. Myself included. Also, which programs within respective schools are the best to obtain degrees in? Going bts for a liberal arts degree is a waste of time, unless you just want the accolades of having a degree.

Dr. Clifford. After serving over 40 years as a second-gen Christian missionary to Mexico, and having worked as a self-taught BI/ Tableau Developer in the healthcare sector for the last 8 years, I am finding it necessary to once again re-invent myself in order to ensure job safety and security. I am native level fluent in both English and Spanish, so the path of least resistance would be a BA/MA in Spanish. The second option is to continue to build on my existing IT skills and pursue either a BA in Cloud Data or Data Analytics. However, being 60+ and working full-time, the first option makes much more sense. The one caveat is that I need to do it in the least amount of time at the most affordable cost possible. What do you recommend?
@CollegeHacked
Жыл бұрын
Great question. So with the first, there's only so much testing out of a Spanish degree you can do. And same with the second. They are both somewhat limited. So if you wanted to make this as easy as possible, I'd consider finding any old bachelor's degree as long as it's hackable and then using that to leverage you in to an MA in Spanish because I think that will be the easiest. Of course, if you'd rather be making IT money, then I'd go the other direction.

I actually like them! They have so many electives to choose from!
Any opinions or reviews on CTU (Colorado Technical University) I really love that they also give credit for work or military background but they also give basic exams for core classes and you get the credit for the class if you get a 70% or above

There are better schools :) Check out Liberty University and Thomas Edison State.
Can you make one of these for online HBCUs?
Awesome video. I will point out that WGU will refund you part of your tuition for a term if you only do a few credits.
Thanks a lot for your informative videos, I'm trying to find information about National University (NU - California), however its really hard to find reviews for that institution, do you have any information or opinion about this University?

Eastern Illinios University my wife and I went there The Interdisciplinary Adult Program is AWESOME 👏🏿
I would like to mention Allen Community College and Fort Hays State as the ones having really low tuition costs for online out of state students. Good for international students too. Let me know if you have anything better than these.

Well, they are very CLEP friendly, but they are a for-profit, so I would stay pretty far away. For-profits aren't evil, but they're in it for money and often have super low graduation rates that suggest a bad reputation, bad courses, and frustrating barriers to graduation.

My biggest dilemma is whether online schools are respected as much as a traditional college. I despise OSU, the traditional college I currently go to, so I want really badly to transfer to an online school. I just don't wanna lose the OSU name. Would you say its worth it? Will I still be able to get a credible degree? I am a mechanical engineering major if that helps. Thanks! :)
@CollegeHacked

Hmmmm...much harder to get mechanical engineering online. If that's your goal, I'd stick it out. But I wouldn't worry about the reputation of online programs. Sure, some folks are biased, but that piece of paper is what matters.

Getting involved in campus orgs >>>>>> school prestige in mechanical engineering. Ive been given offers over ivy league and MIT/Georgia tech students simply because i actually did a lot of work with my school's rocketry and robotics competition teams. Im going to my local state school which is far from top tier in engineering Its a bit harder to do this if your mechanical engineering degree is online. Your degree probably wont open doors alone, there are too many mechanical engineering grads vs the mechanical engineering jobs. Not to be negative but just trying to give you some real advice
Can you do a video on UMASS Global? after some basic research ive say that they are nonprofit private, WASC accredited, and has self pace competency based learning, and takes ACE credits. Seems like a good hackable college so just wanted to throw that suggestion in here.

UMASS was awful! One course ENG 103 taught me that instructors do not teach/ KZread videos off the internet/ Blackboard is a mess/ administration apathetic/ does not honestly accept transfer credits as claimed/ violate civil liberties with threats if you speak up/ should be called UMASS Socialist...
What are your thoughts on Umassdartmouth, Purdue global and University of Wisconsin programs since they carry larger university names which can be beneficial

In the end, I'd prioritize the school that fits your learning style best. Brand names are great, but nothing beats actually graduating.

Counseling degrees are everywhere. Usually it's just a psych degree with a few extra courses. SNHU and LUO both have decent ones. Social Work degrees are almost all in-person. GCU is a fine school. They are for-profit but are regionally accredited. One of the few for-profit schools I'm okay with.
