It happened to me. It took me from 2019 december untill 2020 June to make it and after that I founded out that it was like 5 blocks too far from an island from witch I was gonna make a tunnel into the base, and cuz of that, the tunnel wasent simetrical. And the worst thing is that I was playing in an survival server and some1 ho was jealous at my building (and ho was a noob to witch we had to give him gear to survive cuz he refuzed to make anything and was living in a mine and who was the owners friend so we had to help him or we would get banned)FRICKING FARMED GUN POWDER AND SAND ALL THE TIME I WAS BUILDING and like an week after I finished and was not onlyne trying to figure out an way to make the bridge simetrical HE BLEW UP THE INTIRE BASE! When the owner found out, he was angry at his friend and banned him. After that the owner helped me by giving me all the stuff that I needed tp rebuild the base and like 10 people that I had became friends with and helped them when they were early on the server(trough helping I mean that I gave them diamond blocks, free acces to my farms and helped them find an clear, flat spot where to build their bases) helped me reconstruct the mega base by splitting the parts of the building so it can be mannaged more easily :)

I can’t relate to this because I’m not a mega base builder nor do I feel like I have that amount of patience (I think) , but holy you must have been feeling a lot at that time. Good to see that the server owner and the other people joined together to help you fix it All’s well that ends well ig also who farms gunpowder and sand for a whole year?? what an idiot that guy was

I'm honoured that you decided to include my base on your list! I just wanted to clear up a little bit of misinformation here though. That Mega Base wasn't built in my hardcore world, but in a separate ordinary survival world. While I haven't died in it for over a year now, I had quite a few deaths in the first few months of that world while I learned the game and would prefer that others didn't get the wrong idea. Thanks for including me though!

Hi whistler! Love the base btw. I just had a really cool thought you could consider, maybe you could add a feature in the base where at night or day, pistons could release and let the water flow down into each other and make a cool water design. I especially like how you also o put water inside those stairs as well; and you have my greatest respect as that must have taken ages lol. I thought that could be pretty cool but regardless its a great base 😂😀

@@Gladiator_boy_1 Thanks for the suggestion! I really appreciate it. I don't think it would work like how you would think though sadly. Like you said, I've put water in a LOT of stairs, and this actually makes water flow entirely differently over the top of them as the flows are cut short because it just takes the shortest route to another source of water. I don't think I could make that work in a way that looks good without sacrificing all of the work I've already put in to the build. That said, MinecraftHUB didn't show you this, but the base also has a fully fleshed out interior that involves even more water than I put in to the exterior if that satisfies you! :)

@@MrACCED Depends on what aspect of it you're talking about. Did he build it in survival? No. Did he still build it though? Yes. Even though he's in creative, he's still gotta place blocks and stuff like that. However, 2b2t essentially is creative as people use fly hacks and have basically infinite resources due to the dupes so ... yea, except for world edit, the building on survival 2b2t and creative are somewhat similar imo.

Thank you so much for including my base in this video I am really honored, even that base wasnt even nearly done there. It is much bigger now but it is quite a simple designe so comparing with some other bases mean really a lot :)

Yours looks gorgeous, definitely the best, no debating it. I love the colour choice, the white and blue look amazing together, but… unfortunately it’s not the best I’ve seen because this design is very common (even if it’s hard, theirs at least a thousand almost the same designed bases) so I would say yours is really good and amazing (in this video it’s #1) but not overall unless you Have something unique

@@MinecraftHUBOfficial you should check out loony his hardcore world is amazing. He cleared the entire end island just to make a statue of himself ofc with other insane builds.

I'm still building on Space Valkyria 3 on my channel. I stream it every Saturday. I did indeed build the base twice, the version Fit toured was the first version that was found. Both versions have been griefed already, but their remains are still somewhat recognizable. In singleplayer I'm using world edit to help finish the base. I will also release the world download when it's all finished, so come join whenever.

@@RedStone_Cake No, I mean they duplicated Space Valkyria III. They thought it would get griefed and started building it again some distance away. A few years later they discovered the original.

FitMC did not build that base (Space Valkyria III), Jacktharippa built that base. FitMC just did a tour of a world download

Should've included 'Mother of all Keeps' by Krobar on here. Truly a Godly build.

Man same. I know griefing is part of the game with 2b2t and it adds to some awesome lore but I can’t imagine looking at all that hard work and community and saying “aight time for some tnt”. I just couldn’t do it ;-;

You sir, deserve a follow. Best bases are present, here ! Loony's end statue is the most beautiful thing ever created imo, but not considered as a base. In his 2000 days hardcore survive, he shows an ocean base which is one of the best too, sea lanterns with shaders and round forms =

Thank you for including Space Valkyriea from 2b2t this build actually was built twice on 2b2t the original build lasted a year but the owner knew it wouldn't last so he actually built 2 of them .

I always feel really proud and happy for players with passion and dedication for builds like this

the 2b2t base is practically hardcore now since all portals to the end are disabled if you die there you are unable to return. although hous might return portals in the future (I hope!)

these bases are all very good. You should check out some of the other bases of 2b2t that are well known for being insane. some of the builders on that server are there are crazy.

space valkery 3 and his dublure is amazing :)

The original builder of the end base on 2b2t has his own private version of it in creative and he still works on it to better improve it

The problem i have with these kinds of bases is space, you’re never going to really need thousands on thousands of blocks of space in Minecraft
