5 BEGINNER TRICKS PEOPLE CAN'T LEARN
Ойын-сауық
Today we are talking about 5 BEGINNER scooter tricks that people should learn when they start to scooter. Now...some of these, many talented riders can't do...which I think is ridiculous. If you skipped learning how to manual, you really should give that some practice. Everyone should be able to manual for a decent amount of time. The tricks we talk about in this video are manual, feeble grind on a curb, tailwhip & barspin (combined category), fakie & frontside spins. Some of these take longer than other tricks to learn whether you're at the skatepark or learning them on flat outside your house. But, don't get discouraged...you can do it! Hopefully some of the tips and tricks in this video help you guys add some scooter tricks to your bag that you can take to the skate park, out in the streets or wherever you prefer to ride! Enjoy and thank you for watching!

You’re a huge inspiration to me and I just got my first sponsor a week ago and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for inspiring me and so many others every single day!
yeah the feeble on the curb was my go to, destroyed the bottom of my ray aosv4 deck tho lol. huge crack from that and razor sharp edge on the deck. brings back memories
The section on frontside spins was so helpful. I just learned frontside 360s flat, and it was quite the challenge, since I was going against what I learned with backside 360s a year ago. I learned 180s and a halfcabs in both directions, and it’s so helpful. I agree with you completely. It really opens up a new world of tricks. I should focus on it more.

There are a ton of great options that are on the cheaper side. It all depends on your size. If you are taller rider, I'd say go with something along the lines of a Prodigy S9, Colt S5 or something along those lines. If you are really unsure and you'd like us to help you find the right scooter for you, feel free to give us a call at Scooter Zone and we would be more than happy to help! (951) 296-2222 :)

I love Raymond don't worry I didn't get jons deck :)
Yo Raymond, I am hoping maybe next summer I will be able to come to Murrieta and come to Cal Oaks. I hope to maybe see you then.
with the barspin, how you were saying how to spin it like a handoff instead of fulling letting go. I can almost quad whip, i can whip rewind, and whip to fingerwhip so im pretty decent at scootering, I STILL do a handoff when i barspin
@raymondwarnerofficial
Жыл бұрын
I did hand offs for years. I still do hand offs every now and then to mess around. But, I enjoy doing more of a "flick" barspin nowadays. I look at it as more of a challenge to be honest. Not that there is anything wrong with hand-off barspins...there isn't whatsoever. There are just more ways to do them if people want to mess around is all. :)

any tips for learning how to drop in with both feet on and jumping up ramps
@raymondwarnerofficial
Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! I always tell people to do baby-steps first. When it comes to dropping in with both feet, I would recommend pushing off first. So using one foot to push off the ramp and then putting it on the scooter after you're in the air. Once you've become more comfortable with that, I'd recommend giving the full two-footed drop in a go. But remember...BABY STEPS! As for jumping up ramps, people tend to screw these up because of one thing.....fear. People might not realize it, but they are usually afraid to fully commit to keeping their feet on when in the air. It seems like you have just become accustomed to having a foot off because you're nervous. It is okay to be nervous...but start working on leaving both feet on to get to the next level in your riding. Hope this helps!
