I think most should be fine, but here are the system requirements that a laptop or computer would need to run Design Space: help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009556033-System-Requirements-Design-Space

I have ripped many many vinyl trying to transferring them. My vinyl is thicker than what I would call normal. Does the custom will put enough pressure for it?
