Tippman A5. Really great starter. Not sure how compares to Tippman Cronus. Similar it seems other than appearance.

To see people saying this even 10 years later is cool.. from doing research back then a-5 was the best overall for the price point at the time. Very versatile, accurate, upgradable, and modifiable to what your style of game play is. I recommended to a friend of mine and once he found what worked for him he dominated pretty well with it. That was 10 years ago though but seems like they are consistent

love the iron sights on the A-5 its one of the best starter guns but i recommend the Planet Eclipse Emec. It is really reliable light weight and much more like the emec is probably the best because it is a mechanical you dont need to think about turning on the gun all you need to worry about is a safety and it is great for mechanical tournaments!

Haha I love my mini GS and it's much cheaper than my $1700 Bob Long and that's before the tank and hopper so ye $400 is cheap and I'm pretty sure you can get an entire kit for close to $400 also this original comment is from a year ago and so that's why it says $400 but still it can be way more expensive.

Back in my day it was the proto rail and the pmr lol. No one even recognizes those guns on a field any more. Someone asked if it was a rize and i had absolutely no idea what they were talking about until seeing this

I started off with a Spyder MR1, I got it when I was 11 or 12 years old as a birthday present, and I took terrible care of it. I never cleaned it, never changed O rings, and when I did oil it up I used valve oil for brass instruments. Even though I treated it terribly, it never jammed or broke down. It still works now, but I hardly use it since I have a Spyder MR5 now

I always recommend the BT Slice. Incredibly easy to maintain, and 100% reliable. I've never had my gen 1 BT Combat fail on me.

just remember the faster you shoot the more money you spend...

Good list but I’d definitely suggest a Tippmann A5

Tippmann a5 all the way. I picked up two for 200$ in Canada. One is better than the other, came with 2 HPA tanks, a nice mask, remote coils, both have cyclone feeds, and the newer one came with a response trigger and a double trigger that I put on. Only thing I needed to do to get on the field was change 2 o rings and it was super easy. Highly recommend the A5 for any starter.

He gives me the older brother sort of vibe, which is why i watch him, me and my twin are the only PB players in the family and close friends, we've been playing since age 12, we're 20 now, and it's been an awesome time on the field

My first marker was a gryphon fx. And it worked perfect. My pick for a low budget beginner

I have had all of those markers at one point or another. With one exception... the GOG enmey is still in my possession.

Figured itd be fun to watch. I actually use the chronus and love it. For those of you looking to buy a gun and are new I highly recommend it. Shoots straight, has great accuracy, has decent accuracy, and is easy to modify. One last thing: the suppressor on it doesn't actually work l. It's fake and just for looks. You do need it though for the iron sights

I'd recommend the Tippmann A5

The rize has the eye pipe but can be easily broken by user error and the eyes on the mins gs are a pain to get to but once you get you used taking apart it will ease up a bit cuz you will get used to it but I would but go with the cronus. Not spyder, maybe gog enmy. But thats my opinion. Hope it helps if not okay anyways.

Would recomend to make a seperate vid for magfed and speedball, Magfed: TMC or TiPX Speedball: Mini GS or Etha 2

I rented my first few games and my first tournament series was a mechanical only where you had to all use the same gun (gog enmey) so that took care of that. if youre looking at getting into the sport any of the guns in this video are good but id say rent until you get the feel and save for something you really want. my first two guns (bought at the same time) are SP Shocker and an Eclipse ETEK5.

My first marker was an classic spyder shutter got it in like 2000 ish

Tippmann A5 best all around marker

I got the Etha LT which in my opinion is a damn amazing marker for a first marker

I know many serious players buying enmys and upgrading them for mech tournaments, theyre great,

i like the tippman 98 custom. serves me pretty good

I got a Spyder mr100 P and yes it's a really good gun and super easy to clean. My only problem is the feed neck which will most likely break due to its plastic cheap design. However I replaced it with a metal one for a few £ and bang done. (Side note ensure u have some washers/spacers to rise the screw hight or ur gonna have a bolt problem which I did.

I’ve watched this so many times over the years and I don’t even do paintball or ever even had a marker before 😂

In order from the best to the lease. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND (1st Tippmann Cronus) (2nd Spyder MR 100) ( 3rd Gog eNMy) and lastly (4th Spyder 2012 Black gun)

Aside from the spyder this is a pretty good list. Maybe replace the spyder with the kaos 2 and the mini gs with the code.

its been discontinued for years and is pretty hard to find at a decent price now

Can you refill a psi tank with a air motor thing?(you plug it in and it makes pressures air)

Im wondering if the gog enemy will be a good secondary I mean hook it up to a line and a small bottle in a pouch and stuff it into a holster combine that with a standard hopper there's a 100 round pistol lol

got dm 12 only thing i don't like is the eyepipe .Easy cleaning whit ball breaks but very brittle .On my third one now.

What's a good gun that I could buy

I got blitz 3 for my first gun

since im more an airsoft player, i wanted something that made me feel confortable, so i was searching for -Something with a great feel and looks (airsoft is all about looking like you know what are you doing) -Something Accurate (for real, all stock paintball markers that ive used needed more accuracy) -something quick (by brother bought a Tippmann Gryphon, and the flat trigger really helps to shoot fast, but my fingers cant keep the pace all day) so i got a Sierra One with E-Grip (electronic system) and a rifled barrel (im looking towards an APEX 2 barrel, is basically a Hop-Up for paintballs) i think there was nothing better to start in paintball

I have the Empire Axe 2.0 it is a GREAT fun might be a little pricey but worth the money but really good I recommend it!

the newer spyder fenix is really good. only 150$ and its electronic .

I personally own a Cronus. If you want to change out the barrel you must cut off the front adapter for the shroud, as many barrels will not fit. You may be able to bore it out with a drill if you wish to use that shroud.

Probably wont respond since you commented so long ago but how is it my friends and i went last werkend and we loved it. We wanna get markers for next summer because we will have our licences by then and well be able to go more often. The cronus seems to be the best mechanical marker out there and it looks rlly cool. Just wanna know if it is truly the one to get.

Jason Kephart unfortunately no, but GOG is a continuation of the smart parts brand, so that GOG enmey gun they talked about here is sort of similar.

I am a ref, and play competitively, and I say buy the mini. If you can't aford it new, go on ebay and get a Mini GS used. MAKE SURE ITS A GS. Or alternatively an ETHA 2 you might initially save more with other electric guns, but they will break constantly and cost an arm and a leg to keep up.

All Skate mini or the axe its about the same, axe is just bigger

I gotta go Cronus with all its attactchments. It is comfortable. It can be very mobile if used correctly, and it works for a very good sniper, for instance, I once played reserection in an Indoor arena and I just needed a few inched of ennemy to get a hit. I was litterally protecting the flank on my own because of how well I can use the cronus.

The Etha 2 is the absolute best starter marker for your money. Planet Eclipse. Gamma Core. You can’t beat it for $400 brand new, regardless

My first gun is a tippman a5 i just got it today

Okay so I’ve never played before. My buddy is putting together a pretty big paintball weekend for a bachelor party and I need to buy a marker. Looking at the cheap Tippmann Cronus. My question is about the “tactical” version. I’m thinking of spending the extra $20 on it just for the stock (I could care less about the stupid barrel and handle) Basically everyone I’ve ever seen play holds their marker up pretty high and uses the tank as a stock. Is this the way you’re supposed to shoot? Is the stock on the Cronus useless? Is it worth having or just for looks like the “silencer” is? Is it worth the money is basically the question. Thanks

Using the tank as the stock places the back of the marker directly in front of your face and makes aiming down the barrel much easier. Some people like using the stock with a remote line and a tank on their back, but most prefer using the tank as a stock
