kinda too bad that katalina after dodging the ARES will get reset which is her main source of damage compare to charlotta, her attack slash will still continue after dodging

By the way, you can hold the block button while attacking to auto block

You can also tap block before dodging so you have a high change to avoid dmg from a good chunk of attacks in this game.

also one really funny thing i just want to say is i was in his stream chat around his first recruit and i specifically said “do you want me to give you a tip for recruiting or do you want to figure it out yourself?” referring to his tip 2 and he said nah let me figure it out. the problem being a guide maker is never wanting to be guided😂

Brax I don't main Narmaya just because she is a shortstack with massive personalities, a katana, is eepy and has pink hair. I main her because her Japanese VA was a really hot yellow ranger from this show I love called Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. Trust.

Your guard breaks around 3 hits in the beginning. That number increases as you go through your mastery tree and equipping the right sigils.

You can dodge out of block so it’s good to get into the habit of holding block just before dodging so that if you time it right, you get the perfect dodge, but if you’re too late or too early on the dodge, you have block up to save yourself.

Thank you, I've been thinking about getting this game, but watching the play throughs online it seems a bit overwhelming. It still seems like it will be overwhelming but at least there is a starting point.

I love that you brought up how OP blocking is. We've been conditioned for so long from other games that its natural to try and dodge everything. Its a habit Ive had to break when playing this game, dodge only when appropriate to keep your combo going, but otherwise just block lol

A shame it doesn't prevent status effects. It only takes one boss with status effects to send block believers into copium mode.

When you're saying "wait before recruiting new allies", until when do I have to wait ? Level 100 ? Or can I recruit people before that already ?

I'm happy to see you covering Granblue, it's a great game and deserves to succeed.

To be able to unlock character from crewmate card at max lvl (lvl 60) you need to unlock the maniac/proud difficulty or after reaching skyfarer grade "Zegagrande Legend".

This game is so much fun! Between it and Persona 3 been super occupied.

Hmm I saw in another video that dodging is important in this game because it allows you to do a special action or something, sorry if I'm not being specific I don't have this game but maybe the block vs dodge thing could be looked more into detail

I unlocked all characters as sson as i hit manaiac for the level 60 bonus... biiiig mistake as i ended up having to do the last last boss for my main zetas weapon about 60 times, and i still havent gotten the weapons for the other characters i want to play :(

My only experience with granblue was the fighting game and a longer than I'd like to admit google search. So my list of characters that I like is pretty small but I'm still excited to use Zeta and Narmaya outside of Versus.

I didn't know that there are other characters besides Narmaya. Now then, ... when do we get those Narmaya costumes?

alright i gotta ask, does every body else suffer from the same frame drop problem? especialy in the first town??? my pc is quite high spec so im confident it's not my pc thats at fault here, i tried lowering the graphic but frame drop still happend.

For this video I'm experimenting a bit, there's an option to "not notify subscribers" There's a theory that your video can get shoved to the bottom of searches and things of your subscribers don't click on it. Since most of my viewers dont play this game (I'm assuming I don't actually know), I wanted to try to uncheck that box for the first time on a long form video to see if in the long run it would benefit the video. Only time will tell. As for the other video I have no idea!

The other video was the AFK Journey one, which I did see other comments also mentioning not seeing it there. As an aside, I also didn't get the archive for the Penacony stream in my sub feed either. Glad to know that at least in this case it's not KZread or the algorithm screwing you over.

You know, when I played the demo, I noticed that dodging felt kinda...not good, but I assumed from the get-go that it was because I'm not used to the game yet and I'm just bad. Good to know blocking is just outright better most of the time.

There are sigils that make dodging better in various ways like increasing dodge distance and giving you a larger number of consecutive dodges. Default dodge is still fine for most attacks, you just don't want to dodge 3 times consecutively because that adds an end lag animation to it which leaves you vulnerable.

another useful tip is if you get glaciated or dizzy just button mash

Meanwhile, I'm soloing the game with just the main character cuz it makes the game feel like a souls game. The 4-man party is too OP, I'm using them just on those red stones where powerful enemies show up and you have limited time to kill them. My builds will be ruined for sure, but maaan, it's so much fun soloing this game. Feels like playing Sekiro, but actually having enough healing items and not having to die for every small mistake. If I reach critical state I restart from the checkpoint though. It's like having the souls game that I always wanted. Just hard and challenging, without the usual bs, insanity and unfairness.

I'm so sorry but I found it funny how you still misspelled everyone's name 😆 Cagliostro Vaseraga Charlotta Rackam As for difficulty, have you tried putting aegis v on everyone to go above 50k hp? Potion hoarder, guts and auto revive are also almost mandatory. Proud is all about being able to survive one-shot attacks
