I could hear him coming hole time. If it was a 150 shot I might have held him off

I got a 2017 Dodge Charger rt with stage 2 cam CIA kooks long tubes and custom dyno/trans tune on 93 with a drag pack set up. Thinking about running nitrous and going with a 4000rpm stal converter. What shot are you running for nitrous? Stock internals?

That was a 100 shot. Yes stock internals. Wouldn’t go much past 150 with the stock internals. I’ve got mine torn down atm. Im gapping the rings and adding ARP rod, main and head bolts. Im keeping the stock 345ci displacement as well as stock rods pistons and crank. See how long it will hold up to a 250 shot. Good tuner is the key to keeping it safe!

​@whiteknucklert2315 I'm new to the hemis in the LS trucks we wouldn't even tune the computer just ran a 100 shot and left the timing stock is that something that the hemi can handle also I would have it on good fuel too.

@@whiteknucklert2315well this would’ve been interesting to hear about. 250 nx is a game changer and I’d love to know how those stock pistons and especially the stock 5.7 rod which seem to be lacking in my opinion but I’d like to know how a 250 shot turned out…. Hoping it went well. MOPAR2YA

@@bmf88 I would say yes you should be ok on 100 with no tune as long as your running some good race gas and don’t hit it until your rpms are up around 3k or more

@@FormerlywarmerI didn’t get a chance to hit the 250 yet. I didn’t have enough injector or fuel pump. I will have it ready this spring. I did do a bunch of 150 hits and the engine loved it. Will let you know how the 250 goes. I’ll take a video and post it here.

There is no way dude there has to be more done to the hemi

@@ClippThat_ I do have a race gas nitrous tune yes. I have heard you can get away without it but I wouldn’t recommend it.
