I really wish I could afford one of these. I am 66 years old and I really want my independence. My husband of 33 years left me for a younger woman and I now live with my adult children. I wish I could have my own space.

What is the rent on the land that these mobile homes are on? How about taxes? I was looking into a mobile home but found out that since most do not own the land that it is on the rent can rise up dramatically.

I like your show and information. I live in AZ and want to move to the South Venice area to be near family. I have no problem moving in to a manufactured home except for the lot lease. I could completely renovate one of these but my cost would be the same as buying a home. It just doesn’t make sense. $1100 and up for lease and no guarantee the land won’t get sold or lease increased.

Not all lot rents are $1100.00 per month in the State of Florida. The closer you are to the Gulf of Mexico or the opposite Coast, rents will increase as do Home Prices. Venice does have one small MH community with lot rent of $425.00. It's not Dog Friendly. It's not Rental Investment Friendly. It's Neighbor Friendly though and 1.5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. I don't know much about trailer communities, but wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a small plot of land to put a trailer on? That's what I did, and love it. I'm so happy. I can't afford any more than 500 bucks a month, so a trailer park is too high end for me.😂

if you buy one for 5600 you better be ready for major repairs a new roof and having to have it fumigated they never tell you these things a pre inspection is a must there are cheaper parks mine is less than 400 a month but they are going the way of the dinosaur

Every Community is different. It's best to call the community of interest and ask them directly. The same applies for pets.
