Nice project car,matter of interest what sump/oil pan did you use as I've heard some cars you have to change the sump for another one for a different car.also what gearbox has it got.

Did you have to do any fab work for the engine/trans combo to fit in the engine bay and transmission tunnel?

Did you have to use a lokar shifter adapter to keep the column shift? I'm doing a l86 (LT) 8l90 trans swap on my caprice and my mechanic is saying we may have to put a floor shifter in? I'd rather keep the column shifter

How much modification did you have to do to get it to mount

What fuel pump/senderunit do you use? I keep hearing stock then I'm hearing aftermarket.

I just had to get my steering gear box replaced hope yours not bad . Oh.. what about them headers I need all info on 327 Corvette crate headers for 96 caprice

I want throttle response and able to burn out. I'm thinking tune, headers, cam, and posi rear end. Do I really need cam ?

Tahoe’s are big and heavy you’re going to need a lot to make them burn rubber fasure or you can look into a line lock that’ll work as well

Your is not stronger a lt1 are rated at 265hp f body lt1 are rated at 275 these 5.3 are rated 290-315 gen 5 5.3 aluminum blocks are rated around 325
