It's shocking too that nobody researches stories before putting them on the news. It's possible that they're so busy up until the last minute that they don't have time to background check every single story. Most news stations run 24/7 and the execs/producers want new stories up as soon as they happen.

apparently in the book the baboons is the name of a militia group...but he obv didnt even read 'his own' book before the press tour cuz he says the kid was pulled apart by baboons with the most amazingly jarring transition lol

I bought this book. Now, when i meet people and books come on by any chance, i always give it to them. Insist they they read the whole thing, no matter how idiotic it gets. Then, the next time i know i'll see them, i'll bring a usb drive with s03e01 of nathan for you on it, and tell them to watch it. Great ice-breaker, makes you memorable, they laugh their asses off and are introduced to Nathan. Was so worth $30 aud.

Nathan is a true genius. He got a guy to say nothing but lies. And then more lies. Dug deeper and deeper into the lies. Even lied to Nathan when he promised not to go to the gym. Not a single truth was uttered. Brilliant!

the second I saw the morning show appearance in the episode, i looked for this, realizing that it has become much more than just a funny gag about moving services and turned into an embarrassing exposé of american media being so hot for a good story that you can come up with the cheapest kinds of lies to advertise your product.
