    Professor Garfinkel: Was Euler's method use to compute the numbers associated with pi.....? William Jone (mathematician) demonstrated how pi's numbers after the decimal point are created, a precursor to Euler's method, albeit, both the same as I see it!

    no, I don't think so. Euler's method is a way of approximating the solution to a differential equation. Pi is something else, an infinite series that computes the digits one by one. But each calculation doesn't depend on the previous like in Euler's method. There are formulas that will give you the nth digit of pi. They are both approximations, though.
