I was actually wondering if this pack would fit one of my M&Ps in it. Nice to know it'll fit nearly any size M&P, and just about everything else in that size range. You couldn't have answered the question more perfectly. Thank you!

I did a lot of research between the 5.11 sky-weight utility and the hill-people gear. It basically came down to 2 factors, color and price. I finally decided on the sky-weight because 5.11 had a sale so I picked it up for $45.99 and the color I wanted FDE/Black. HPG always has the good colors sold out and for practically double the price. I carry a Hellcat Pro and have no problems drawing from the pull tabs quickly. Hope this helps future buyers. PS it was a tough decision to make with HPG being American made.

I will most like add a holster for one of my other shieds in one of these and I have several M&Ps to choose from for the other.

Thank you for showing fullsize and compact handguns in the pouch. Your review is the only review with such a comparison. 👍🏼This is the primary reason for us buying it, right? You nailed it. I might suggest more detail about the top buckles and how the nylon straps are removable or permanently attached.

These packs can accommodate a G20, 10mm. Gun limits the amount of gear a BIG gun really hampers the ability for gear. I run the utility without gun (on my person) to get the full benefit of gear for my needs. Over all, great chest rigs….👍

I have a Mete SFX. Same size as a 5” M&P. It “fits”. But it’s really tight and it affects how much can fit in the other pockets. Also have a 365XL…nice fit !

I carry an H&K P30, in my 5.11 utility pack. It just fits, little room to spare. I use the soft 5.11, hook & loop holster.

I had always wanted to get USP, just never got round to it.

Is that a pocket by the pull tabs on the survival pack?

On the survival pack, I don't think there is an inside pocket, but I can double check.

Could a Glock 20 fit in this?

I think the relative size of the G20, compared to the 5in M&P is a smaller footprint. So I think, give a good holster design and angled correctly, I think it would fit just fine.
