    Old post, but I'll comment for anyone looking to book this room. This room is best for people looking to hang out at Marquee dayclub/nightclub for most of their stay. The cabana's for just the Dayclub cost $3k - $5k to rent. Talking with someone who has stayed here, you WILL find plenty of willing 20 something's in Marquee Dayclub willing to go "check out" your $5k a night bungalow and for some that's worth the price of admission alone. For everyone else... there's the wraparound terrace suite.

    That's very interesting to hear, thank you! I haven't been making my usual trips to Las Vegas for the past couple of years, so I'm a bit out of the loop. I remember the two-bedroom lofts were the best publicly-available rooms at the time I made this video and I wasn't even aware they offered suites with outdoor spaces. It sounds like a fantastic suite, I will definitely check it out next time I'm looking at making a booking. I think the bungalows are unique for the party aspect. It is the single best way to experience a rowdy night out at Marquee, in my opinion. Thanks for your comment! Let me know of any other high-end suites you know of that have outdoor spaces available. I tend to favor Cosmopolitan for that aspect of their rooms, but the skyline grand terrace suites are outstanding value at MGM, if you don't mind staying at MGM.

    100% correct. The bungalows almost only make sense for large groups. For example you can block out as many normal suites as you need (they recommend you do because the nightclub is extremely loud if you wanted to sleep), and then use the bungalow as home base for the day and night club. It is the single best party room I have ever stayed in, no competition.

    Weekend prices start at $3000 during the off season and peak at $15k on major Spring / Summer holiday weekends. The price does NOT include anything from Marquee...technically. That said, there are a lot of unwritten perks to staying in one of the bungalows when it comes to getting VIP treatment from Marquee's hosts. They'll turn a blind eye to many things (within law / reason) if you throw some cash around.

    $5,000 a night is just the inflated sticker price. Comps are the name of the game in Vegas. If you have a large line of credit or if you have a high players card level that $5,000 a night Bungalow will either be free or have a significantly reduced sticker price. It's what's known as a "soft" comp, they say they're giving you $5,000 a night room comp but they're really just letting you sleep In a space that's already empty for the night, whereas a "hard" comp is money that comes straight out of the casinos pocket, like a $100,000 NFL blimp.

    I’m actually curious, where? I know there are larger and more luxurious rooms at this price point, but as I have mentioned a number of times, the allure of this particular room is that it is directly connected to one of the most popular clubs on the strip. It has a private jacuzzi and a large party deck overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Where else in Las Vegas can you get those things? As far as I know, these are the only rooms that can be accessed from any of the clubs in Las Vegas. Now partying may not be your cup of tea but table service at Marquee costs significantly more than $5,000. These rooms offer club access with a party-friendly floor plan and a jacuzzi that proves to be quite a draw for other club-goers...understand yet? It’s amazing how many commenters don’t seem to understand that the nightclubs are one of Las Vegas’ biggest draws. There are a ton of people in town for them. This room is for them. Otherwise the 2 bedroom loft at Vdara is the best deal in town if you all you want is a huge, quiet, luxurious room for under $1k per night.

  • @hotrod3395

    @hotrod3395

    4 жыл бұрын

    "Fluff to make the footage longer?" Do you think I shot this single video as a commercial venture? There isn't a SINGLE edit in the whole thing. It took two minutes to get down the hallway because...wait for it...it took two minutes to walk down the hallway. The whole video is a single shot and unquestionably, obviously, an amateur affair. This was intended for viewing by friends, family, and what I assumed would be handful of people who may be considering a "party stay" at the Cosmopolitan. I appreciate your comment, but the insinuation that the extra length in this video is "fluff intended to add length" is completely laughable. Pay attention to what you're watching before speculating about the motivations behind it. By the way, thanks for the update on the price. January is going to be a dirt cheap time of year after New Years (not to mention you're quoting weekday prices -- I asked my host) because 90% of the value of these rooms is in a) the pool and b) the club. A weekday stay in January precludes both, so even at $1000 a night, the Bungalows wouldn't even be remotely worth it. There are much nicer rooms for that, as literally dozens of people seem to have pointed out in the comments over the years, acting as if I don't know.

    A decent table at Marquee is at least $5,000. These bungalows are private party pads connected by a private gate to the club. You can walk in and out as you please. That’s why they’re so expensive, it wouldn’t make any sense to pay for one unless you planned on big nights out at Marquee during the stay. I’m sure you can imagine the advantage of having two showers, three floors, several furnished outdoor patios overlooking the club and the Bellagio fountains, as well as a jacuzzi connected to one of the most popular nightclubs in Las Vegas.

    Sophie Lang Makes sense. One thing to note, in case you haven’t been there, the day and night clubs are actually connected. The day club area is basically a large patio connected to Marquee’s main dance floor. So you have access to both. But you’re right it’s not worth it as a standalone room. The noise on weekends rattled the light fixtures into the wee hours of the morning. The hotel all but insists you hook separate rooms if people want to sleep.

    I get that it is Vegas... but I just don't get that this is $5,000 per night. It's an apartment with a nice pool. This seems like a terrible value. I can get you the same size villa with the same quality of interior in Belize for 2 MONTHS for the price of this one-night stay. Again, I get that it's Vegas, and that Vegas is a unique place. So why not spend $200 for a 4-star room and a couple hundred more for a cabana at the pool? Why $5,000 for one night in a hyped apartment?

  • @hotrod3395

    @hotrod3395

    Because the room is directly connected to the night and day club. And $200 barely gets you a pitcher of beer at that club. Cabanas actually cost more than the bungalows, generally, and that makes them a viable alternative.

Ojtdoor everything at mgm is immaculate. And you get a butler ;) for 2000 a night tops

    Look when this video was posted. Also, call your host at Cosmopolitan and ask what the rate is on Bungalows for Fri / Sat. It's not $1500 and never will be, even in the dead of winter. Even the fucking miserable lanai suites are $1500+ on weekends, jackass. You're the kind of genius that loses a game of checkers to a cast iron pan, aren't you?

    @@curtispierce6881 It's MARCH, dummy. I said call your host (you clearly don't even have one) and ask about the rates on FRI / SAT. Or as the word "weekends" too big for you to read and comprehend? I said they are NEVER $1500 a night on weekends and I am right about that. I have stayed at this hotel hundreds of times, I've stayed in bungalows dozens of times. Read my comment again. What is it with you, did you get in a nasty car accident as a child or something? You are booking weekdays outside of pool season. They GIVE bungalows away to anyone who even remotely gambles during these months. The fact that you're having to book directly tells anyone who's paying attention that you don't gamble. You're staying mid-week, you're just gonna sit around staring at an empty day and night club. You're booking those rooms during the least desirable, cheapest time of the year. So who is trying to cash out, again, Curtis? Let me know when you can afford to stay on a weekend. You know, when Marquee is actually open. Christ, what kind of fool pays CASH for a bungalow on Tuesday / Wednesday in the winter and then accuses someone else of trying to "cash out?" Absolutely hilarious, thanks for the entertainment. P.S. - I just checked my statements from the trip that I made this video on, five years ago. The room rates were $6500 on Friday and $7500 on Saturday. The weekdays were $2,000 one night and $3000 the other. $5000 was the average nightly rate estimated by my host at the time. Stay broke, brother. Stay broke.

    Having stayed in a similar suite for one night at the Hard Rock in Vegas it makes sense (or at least a lot more sense) financially when you load up with 10 guys or more in the room. I'm guesstimating since it's been about 10 years but I think the room was $1700 for one night and when you have 10 guys there that's 170/person, which isn't unreasonable at all given all that's included. And there was definitely enough space for everyone to crash on a couch or bed. Not the most comfortable thing ever but an experience I'd absolutely do again

  • @hotrod3395

    @hotrod3395

    Absolutely. I would say that at least 70% of people who book bungalows are in fact doing so as a group. They actively discourage people from using them as a room to sleep in because of the music from Marquee literally pulsing through the walls at all hours, so most people book additional rooms and use the bungalows as extremely fancy VIP rooms at Marquee. That said, if you're not bothered by noise, you could absolutely just use them as a crash pad for a bunch of people. There is plenty of room. Cheers!

    I understand that you may find higher-end furnishings at other resorts for lower costs (including at Cosmopolitan, by the way) but I don't know where else you can find a large, well-equipped room with a patio overlooking the Bellagio fountains, a private jacuzzi, and your *own private gated entrance* to one of the top clubs on the Strip? Different people like different things. You may love one of the larger suites at Wynn, but try to understand that Wynn does not offer ANY rooms like the bungalows at Cosmopolitan. The bungalows are party suites connected directly to Marquee...that's what you're paying for. If I just wanted a clean, large, quiet, modern room, Vdara's 2-bedroom lofts are easily the best deal in Vegas. But for a group looking to party, there's nothing quite like the bungalows anywhere else in town, in my opinion. Thanks for commenting!
