I am aware it is a difficult task to make a Top 3. How about making a video of your favourite/"suggestible" 4x4 campervans, regardless the TOP3/TOP 10 or whatever ? Based on your standards and necessities. (You could include : Build Quality, Reliability, Manufacture Reputation, Space Utilisation, Price/Value to Performance index, etc. Most of all and keeping things simple, you can start by the 4x4s that have created an impression on you and you would like to own, should you have the chance) You are very knowledgeable, experienced and insightful on "normal" campervans and your perspective is ultra interesting. If and When you have the precious commodity of time and desire to do so, that is !! I Cannot be the only one who would be waiting for a such a video, which includes your best 4x4 can I ? Ultra interesting to hear you deviating from the normal vids. Stay safe and keep sharing your gems with us, Alan.

Thank you for the suggestion! I know that there are lots of things like this, maybe I ought to do things like three suggestions - I would not like to say one vehicle was better than another. I am very cautious with something like that as I know that it can result in buying decisions! I will see what I can do when I get a chance!

I don't know how to judge it - if we are judging on practicality which I could comment on but what I can't is ruggedness. There are lots of small manufacturers which put in lots of extras and I would not like to judge between them!

Thanks Alan, once again a great video...i am a bit unsure if i like this van tho, but those wheels are very nice indeed ...i just cant seem to get past the roof tent, its a bit unsightly dont you agree? i do think it would be better without it.

I think all roof tents look unsightly but the bigger question is are they practical!

i must ask was this example a proto type? as it seemed a little unfinished

I would say it was over done Kevi - four sleeping places too many in a van measuring less than six metres!

Thanks for the video. Really nice vans. When you say it sleeps 6, does this mean you can travel with 6. As a family of 5 this seems to “always be missing or jot made clear”. Channels should state how many can legally travel and how many can sleep, not one or the other. This of course is only relevant for 5 plus persons groups or families. But, thanks for the videos and info

only advantage for cramming everyone in is stealth camping in Lidl carpark. Otherwise just take extra tents. And as its a rugged overlander, there probably wont be charges for the additional tents anyway, seems a bit of an odd choice....8000 just to give extra guest accomodation, hguests can bring their own van!

In Poland, Lidl have introduced a ticket system in areas where there may be attempts at getting all day free parking - not just Lidl for that matter. I think if there were six people in less than 12 square metres, they are going to have to be very stealthy not to be seen!

Daft to have six berth and no storage. Makes no sense. I can't see how that would work. If you're going rugged, presumably, you need supplies. Even if Tesco is round the corner, you need SOME supplies. Be better to have more space and chuck in a pup tent if needed. However, if you were to give me this van, Alan, or any other, I would say thank you very much. Nice video.

This is the most favorite camping van ❤I have ever seen. It is a pity that I am in Australia. Even if it is shipped by sea, the driving operation is different. Otherwise, I will definitely order one. I like it so much😍. Please tell me the top configuration. How much? Thanks!
