So sad to see Katie go. That said, 95 percent of my adventures are alone. I love the solitude. Great to see some good offroading and epic campspots. Another excellent video.

It's good you eventually let down your tyres. I'm sure the people who'll drive on those tracks after you guys, will appreciate it. Not letting tyres down is a quick way to ruin & damage what is otherwise a nice driveable track.

I'll never have an RTT. Too much weight up too high, bad for fuel mileage, too much canvas in the rain, etc. etc.

Did you try to make the Jeep float? If you spend too much time on the truck, maybe you'll get left.

1 jar of 4 Cheese Alfredo Sauce. 1 tin of baby clams, drained, reserve nectar. 1 tin/pouch of premium Yellowfin Tuna in Olive Oil. Red Pepper flakes. Oregano, S&P, 3-4 cloves garlic fine mince. Red pepper diced, green onion chopped to taste on both. Orecchiette pasta (small shells work too). Saute onion, pepper, red pepper flakes in olive oil from tuna. Add tuna and break up, add clams. Add oregano and garlic. Heat through, add Alfredo sauce, heat through. Add clam nectar if needed to thin sauce. We simply mix the pasta into the sauce but you could ladle the sauce over the pasta too. Both the red pepper and the green onions will last a good long time without refrigeration so this is often one of our "last" meals" before heading back in to civilization. Oh, it is called The Ears of Charlie Twofish. The pasta look like little ears, the Charlie part will be recalled by older folks, the Twofish is ...clams and tuna. And it is delicious, comes from my repertoire of hiding stuff so our kids would eat stuff other than wieners and chicken bits.

Hey Dan, I remember you saying somewhere "the perfect vehicle all depends on where you're going". With that in mind, do you think the gladiator like you built it here would be a good vehicle for Africa? What would you change on it?

And as for campfires on the coast that’s a big no too. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer Dan. I’m still a fan though. Just passing on some advice to help keep our tracks open. Also it’s best to air down before you need it because it helps keep the tracks in good shape. Going low and slow was good to see
