As a young preteen I always wanted Zahria and TK to get together but as an adult I understand WHY they kept the story line of them just being close like brother and sister. Robert Townsend did a great job in creating this show and keeping it family friendly with so many important life lessons.

Between 16:25 - 16:45....was an epic illustration of why this is one of my favorite shows I watched before reruns and KZread. Her father prepared her for dating and she knew the signs to recognize between a player who just wants to have sex and a young man who really wants to get to know the young woman.

I agree with you.

I hate when women do this crap to good men. Absolutely no excuse. If she had looked Wendell up and called and wanted to maybe start something new and go from there and then gradually bring her son in and he knows that it is not his that is fine. But to sit there and not only lie to her son saying Wendell is the dad and then lie to Wendell and say he is a father is a special kind of meanness. Yea it sucks that you had a child by a dead beat, but that still gives you no right to guilt trip and lie to another man. Especially a good one.

I just now seen this show couple days ago

To be honest, I had a feeling that the boy wasn't Wendell's from the beginning. I never saw this episode before, but I just had that feeling. Jerri confirmed it for me when she looked at that picture. But it was good that the mom decided to tell the truth and everything turned out okay between them, despite the whole lie.
