Reagan-Gomez will forever be bae 😍, but although this show is corny (still love it though) Robert Townsend really did the damn thing bringing a everyday black family to life. I identified more with shows like this than Family Matters or the Cosby's. Also, it was one of the very few show where the black wife was dark skinned and was not replaced by a light skinned black woman overtime. The kids stayed throughout the show as well. I miss shows like this.

How bout i actually had went back to those times to see what moment u were talking bout.. Lol

I remember watching this episode in the 90s as a small child, and the scene where he looks up at Zaria knowing the ruse is over shattered my heart in a million pieces 😢 Even watching it now takes me back to that moment. This scene has stayed with me for over 20 years and is a large part of why I always champion for underdogs.

I remember she was in one, and I wanted my hair just like hers. Every time I'd go for my appointment I'd be like do my hair like the girl from Parenthood.
