I don't think range alone on the melter would get you killed, you had way to many crawlers and he didn't had the clear that he needed. Flaming storm callers would be better than a dopple down of melters.

I really want a hairy balls skin, it would be great.

how does damage sharing work with splash? do all the balls take multiple instances of damage from a scorpion shot as it splashes all of them?

Yes, all the balls in the AOE take the damage, then share each instance of that damage among all linked balls.

Hey Cob, great game, thanks for the video! One question - would it be possible for you to turn up the graphics settings when casting 1v1s? Without shadows and wrecks it just looks half as decent. I get that they have to be turned off for casting FFA for performance reasons, but I have zero interest in FFA, and it saddens me a bit to see the visual quality of regular 1v1s suffer for it :(
