My 2002s the only RWD car I've had so I can't speak from a ton of experience lol but the way the weight shifts and everything, feels like a pretty good car for it. Have managed a couple small drifts but only ever when it's rained

Honestly most of these cars are stock their isnt a really good amount of performance parts at all unless they are custom

Them h20a are noice but not many parts can only swap conrod with aliexpress one or honda b series rods for the h25a but they handle boost mint never seen one really pushed but the biggest i have seen is a supercharged intercooled h20a with stock internals from italy that made around 270hp on 10 psi and it outlasted 5 gearboxes.

I put my jimny on 2 wheels pretty easy one time, soft springs and you will bodyroll too much.

Possibly, I was keeping it road registered here in new zealand and those modifications would have needed certification which is an expensive process , could have swapped them in and out but this was a cheap car when filmed and so those mods would have cost about half what it's worth ( they are expensive here now )

@@magnumllama400 I dropped the psi 45 to try conserve tires ( only had 1 set left and it was still the morning) when I flicked it about 5 laps later the sidewall bent over and caught the rim 😅😅

@@byronjeffries9754 I also think about buying a v6 2.0 vitara, I found one swb I might go and look. I also want to drift it around in the track or offroad like rally. What would you suggest? I thought about installing negative offset rims right after buying it.

On normal occasions stuff like that doesn't happen. Unless of course for some reason you try to drift your Grand Vitara, or it is snowing/raining and you're doing highway speeds and very sudden steering. Most SUVs in general also has the same rollover issue with no rollbars

Get a 2 door Vitara, Drop it a lil bit and you would get around the corners almost like a miata

Yeah that's what I thought haha, I had removed the bump stops and got stiffer springs amd cut them down as far as practical still but to still give it some travel, wasn't enough, would need to cut and reweld suspension points to gibe it enough lowI think 😅

I haven't owned both to be honest but as compared to my mates the H20A does seem to go better but the gearing on the J20A can be better at times for off roading

You know around the world Americans have a bad rep for being rude, which you do not help. This is New Zealand, we drive on the RHS meaning this is a RHD a "Sidekick" would be LHD. I would know, I owned and brought this car...
