@George White Bullshit. SC2 has a different art style sure, but it still looks great. There's no value in turning this into some dumbass fanboy C&C vs SC2 thing, they can both be good.

@@Kaggiekins They have wasted all their life playing C&C so they feel threatened when they see a good RTS game.

Super intense game, it looked like a few players were about to be defeated but then their allies came in and helped out, nice to see such team work. Overall both sides did a very good job and the losing team should still be proud

Well I think he only ever uses it if he missed some major events, it doesn't happen that often because he's a good caster and doesn't miss most of the action.

Thanks for the good cast, a small request: could you move the pannel with the player names a little lower so we can see the superweapon timers ?

Was about to comment that, other than this splendid casting.

It’s sad how CnC didn’t progress past this game. There’s definitely an opportunity for a new CnC game to be a hit as this was the last good game they made. I still find myself going back and playing Zero Hour, and that came out in 2005 or something.

Well CNC4 was the nail to the coffin for CNC games, I heard that they were under immense pressure to release CNC3 and RA3, I guess they should always be under pressure, because in the case of CNC4 they flopped it.

C&C3 really is the pinnacle of the series. They finally perfected the UI, and the use of shaders was amazing-even 13 years later the graphics don't look half bad. RA3 is pretty good-looking too, but it looks kind of cartoonish (gorgeous explosions though).

nothing is eternal. My company developing new gaming platform. We are planning to create strategy games, but they won't happen in a close 5 years, because we have other projects before we would be able to compile strategy games like C&C, but the world we are creating from the one our projets will be simmilar to C&C worlds. It's extremely hard to create a good quality netcode for this kind of strategy games as well as units and environmental design, map editor and engine even more important part which is extremely hard to compile as well

I haven't played C&C 3 in many, many years, but this was such a pleasure to watch. Sybert, you're a phenomenal caster! Glad I found this channel.

Great vid, tons of stuff going on but your casting was enjoyable to listen to as always, and you did a good job keeping up with the endless clusterfuck of the game itself!

Thumbs up for the extra effort of adding picture-in-picture action!

Sybert I still don't understand why no body uses the most OP mothership attack I found out over 8 years ago. Heres how it's done - Drop a power plant or any building next to a worm hole destroy it with morhership and have a tank right beside wormhole and power plant once the power plant blows up run the tank into the worm hole right into your opponents base and it will blow up on the opponents base just like a shot from mothership. I'm not sure if anyone even knows about this or is it just me? LOL

@CABAL The Xbox version was actually easier to play for me, but the pc version is overall better. I just could never get fast with hot keys on the keyboard sadly being primarily a console player or I would have played more.

there is a GDI mission in which you have to escort a ...uhm... i cant remmeber what you have to escort. but its ins a city where GDI and scrin forces battle all over the place. firehawaks, AA bateries, tons of piew piew, boom boom stuff. great mission, great atnosphere :)

@@Marshal_Rock it was a true treat to play those missions. Being allies with nod wasn't something I saw coming. But those couple of missions... Damn. A masterpiece. Heck, I didn't even know the scrin was in the game at all. My older brother stuck the CD in my hand and told me it was great, go play it, he said. 😁

Here's to hoping there's no smurfing Bike in this game :D

I remember how insane the graphics were at the time this game was released. I also remember my PC shutting down when I launched my nuclear missile into the enemy army

How can you guys play this game and not slow down and lag? Whenever I try to play 8 players(ai) it starts lagging when more units on the battle field. It takes my units like 5 secs to accept a commands and sometimes they ignore it cuz game is playing on 5 fps. Is there a fix for it?

I wanna play this online so bad but my online doesnt work

it's quite hard to identify what's really happening on a screen , because environment blends with units and it becomes a mess show. Developers could do multiplayer corrections in a good way, for example gamespeed could be a little slower and obvious massing one type of the units without any kind of limit

I did not even understand who is fighting with whom. It's just messy.

It’s included on the 1.02+ map packs: cgf-uploads.net You have to create an account by downloading his app and then you can install the map packs and uninstall the app.

I haven't run any tournaments recently, but both KW, RA 3, and ZH (I'm sure other games as well) have tournaments specifically for mid-level players also many tournaments have random draw prizes so even if you don't come first or second you have a chance at winning something.
