I was the one of the law players and I could’ve won if I swung 7 with both laws and I goofed but you beat me and you played it extremely well congrats on your top bro well deserved

Was just thinking mono big mom might be a great pick especially with less White Beard match ups. Would you consider Mont'dor or however you spell it

hi bro, i was considering playing OP as a side game since the game looks fun, as cheap as my main (pokemon) and my local community is pretty big and active i like this deck a lot because it's a sudo control and can play with his life, and that seems very cool but i was discouraged by katakuri's cost (25 euros each), what would you replace the cut of 1-2 katakuri with?

Hello~ do you perhaps have any tips to play against White Beard? So far I sadly have my worst matchup against him, like a 10% winrate against him with my big mom. I think I do something wrong, but Im not entirely sure what I could do better, I would greatly appreciate any kind of advice from an experienced player! Also do you still think that running no events but thunderbolt is worth it or do u think Narikabura Arrow is good? Sincerely~

Just picked the game up, my 2 friends picked up the purple and blue structure deck, I grabbed 2x big moms n it's hard to learn for a noob but it's fun 👍 played yugioh and Pokemon for a very long time so it's nice to try something new. ( never watched one piece either 😅)

Thanks! Honestly felt like the deck improved a lot after replacing crackers with katakuris. Cracker just doesn’t help you fight back on board and you fall more behind.

Congrats! I also play a similar list and it served me well. However, I struggle against Katakuri. You didn‘t face any, but do you have any advice for this matchup?

Dice roll impacts the matchup a lot tbh, but it’s mostly about board control and not allowing double attack from their crackers. Taking a little damage and then clearing their board with thunderbolt and katakuris usually does the trick, but it can go either way, especially depending on triggers. That being said I’ve been very successful with this list against katakuri.

Thoughts on any builds involving the homies? I love the concept of them but I can't figure out a way they could work.

Unfortunately I just never have the don to spend on them and they got popped by fire fist.

Very surprised to not see cracker. Pretty cool tho. Congrats on 4ht place. Gonna try to go higher next week in my regional

Cracker simply just doesn’t help the deck come back on board. It also dies to fire fist which is quite popular. Good luck next week, I’ll be there too!

The fact you beat that many WB is crazy. I never lose to yellow, it seems impossible as a WB player myself 😳.

I think it’s because I generally only play 6k+ and stack triggers. Sometimes be stacking thunder bolt to kill their marco going into final swing.

i love the deck list! but one question is killing me, why running big mom instead of kata?

With Katakuri you don't have a lot of control over what is in your life. Big mom lets you put cards like thunderbolt, brulee, and shirahoshi into your life from your hand guaranteeing you get some good triggers off of life.

Heavily considering buzz cut mochi or soul pocus since I really liked them previously, just not against beard. Not sure what the cut is, but I’ll likely change up a couple cards for next week

I play big mom with another list, 4th place Bologna Italy. I that list played 4 sovereignty and 3 cracker... Very different deck 🤔 why use so few event? Shirahoshi is really so great???

Hey congrats on your finish! I always find myself using all my don so ikoku doesn’t make sense to me. Cracker doesn’t help me fight back on board and can get fire fisted so I’d much rather katakuris.

Curious how this list will change and adapt to the meta with the new ban list

Not a fan of those boost cards unfortunately, just doesn't fit well with the don curve.

What are your thoughts on Ikoku Sovereignty? is it not good or is there simply no space for it? 🤔

I've gone against u a couple times and your deck definitely feels stronger then katakuri

Congrats!! I just feel like yellow has such a limited card pool and not enough counter. 22 non counter cards. Swinging 7’s at yellow as a yellow player just feels ROUGH. Maybe I just gotta watch you play it.

Shirahoshi helps a lot with the dead no counter cards. 7k swings do still feel rough and I usually have to take them for a while, but then my board pressure should be enough to pull through. Uploading some tourney games soon!

My deck is less aggressive than Katakuri leader, so I like them to fight back on board. Cracker has no immediate effect and can get popped by fire fist.

I honestly agree, katakuri is actually the worst of the 3 leaders in terms of ability. Big mom for sure needs more respect I am personally running B/Y Big Mom
